One star because there is no option for no stars. This company is the worst unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Beginning with the job not getting finished, Mike tried renegotiating contracts and charge other things the day of the job. Then I asked for them to leave some wood and they piled large logs 6 ft high and I have very small children who play in the yard. My children were almost hurt very bed because the would shifted multiple times. Multiple stumps were left out of the ground in which he refused to finish. I am currently deployed and tried multiple times to resolve this issue and get him to finish the job. He waited until I was deployed and harrassed my wife and children. He added interest and fees while I am deployed and covered by the soldier and sailors act. His workers told me he does this all the time to customers and leaves him to deal with the issue. He since then has threatened my wife while I am deployed and has threatened to steal property from my yard. He is aggressive and unprofessional. She had to call the police and file restraining orders. He has multiple lawsuits from the city and customers, DONT USE THIS COMPANY!! Pictures below show the stack of wood my children were almost severely hurt on and the tree that fell after the picture onto my sprinkler system.

The first two jobs were good but the third one Mike's crew ran over my septic tank with there boom truck, put ruts in the yard from tire's, and refused to repair lawn or pay for septic tank inspection in case of fractures. I will never call them again, **** poor attitude and they threatened me with a lien on my property if i didn't pay, and yes I have all the lien copies and all receipts and photo's, I also mentioned I'm partially physically disabled from a serious back injury and the tire ruts cause a serious threat to falling, but no response or care. Absolute horrible business person.

I wouldn't use them. It was very uncooperative with the request that I made to them from my insurance company. They took the tree down. It was fine but I wasn't pleased with how they were rude and uncooperative about the insurance thing. They did a good job taking the tree down. They were prompt and efficient. I didn't have a problem with any of that. I lost out $500 because they just wouldn't send the information to my insurance company. All I needed was an invoice in two parts instead of one and they wouldn't do it. I wouldn't recommend them. They should be more cooperative with the insurance companies.

Wonderful..easiest transaction yet!

I hired this company to trim some tree branches for me. No call/no shows for the first two appointments – Just one excuse after another. When they finally showed up, instead of trimming the tree branches that were leaning over my property as discussed, they cut down one of my neighbor's entire tree, leaving a six inch stump in their yard. Then the workers lied and said I told them to do it. When confronted, the crew said changed their story to "my neighbor told them to do it". The crew was extremely rude and disrespectful to my neighbors and they kept lying to their faces, even pointing at my neighbor saying he told them to cut down the whole tree. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Mike's Professional Tree Service, to which Mike's Tree never responded. Now they have an "F" with the Better Business Bureau due to the abundance of complaints over the past few months. There have been a lot of negative reviews as well as complaints against that company with the BBB. Many of these complaints are similar to this one. I wish I had seen those complaints when I was doing my search for a tree company. Please protect yourselves. Avoid this company at all cost. Cut down both, damaged my lawn, hauled away one tree and then dead silence. i proceed to chase to get the other tree picked up and when I finally, after 5 days managed to get to the owner, said owner tried to price gouge me to pick up the second tree. I made it very clear that I would pay the original price if the work agreed was completed. Finally had to send an email with a deadline date advising that I would deduct for both work not performed and damage to the lawn. That finally did the trick. Attaching a picture of these charmers parking on my lawn when they could have reached the cut logs from the driveway, etc. Don't use this tree service!

This is the third time I have used Mikes. Every time I have used Mike he gives me a price that nobody else can touch and says he can have his crew there the next day. This tree required a bucket truck and a large crane. There was a crew of 6 who hardly had to talk to each other, they knew what they were doing. The whole tree was leveled in just over 2 hours. The branches were shredded and the large logs were staged and picked up 2 hours later by a single man with a truck with an attached crane. The stump was ground the next day. The other company I had give me a quote was over $500 more, was booking 3 weeks out, asked that I have a telephone wire removed and did not own their own crane. After talking to them I was discouraged. Mike made what I thought was a huge job look simple. They did a nice job of cleaning up.

The work that I contracted for was completed on August 29, 2014, but I am not a satisfied, Valued Customer. First, the crew was in such a rush to finish that they did not do the one thing that I asked, not to leave the logs on my neighbor’s lawn. These folks were nice enough to let me cut down their trees; I didn’t want to inconvenience them further. I had to go to each house and apologize for this situation. Also, if the “boss” on the job has a problem with his workers he should not be running around my yard and yelling “in their face” while we are standing there. It is unprofessional and makes everyone feel very uncomfortable.
Second, the worker who picked up the logs dragged one large log along the ground leaving about a 15 ft. gouge in the grass. I called and left a message regarding the gouge and no one ever called back. I waited 4 days and then decided to call again. They said the message was and quot;garbledand quot; and had no way of knowing who was calling. What kind of business has an answering machine these days? Gee, they didn't have any trouble hearing the message when I was calling for their business! Since they did not appear to be interested in my Satisfaction (as stated in their letter to Valued Customers), I was left to buy soil and grass seed and do the work myself. I also will be watering the area for many days.
Third, and most concerning, is the attitude shown to me by Mike over the telephone who responded to my latest call after explaining the situation to the office girl. Instead of calling with some form of apology for the inconvenience, instead of trying to listen and communicate with a Valued Customer, he called to demand my credit card number. He said he would have fixed the problem and quot;if he had knownand quot; but under no circumstances would he reduce the bill for our making the repairs. My Satisfaction is definitely not his goal.
There was definitely a lack of concern or professionalism on the part of him and his employees.

Excellent service and the guys are really friendly and courteous.

So so, mulch not very good quality. Used him another time to cut branches and it was a better experience.

They were very professional and helpful. We really liked them! I was also granted 1/2 payment with the other half due in June.
