As mentioned above, I contracted with Scott to re-roof our barn after having gotten an estimate from him and another home repair service.  I was impressed with his description of the work and his reasoning in steering us away from the metal roofing material we were considering.  The work he recommended cost less than what we were originally planning on having done.
After the initial work was completed, Scott pointed out several issues with the remaining structure that would require some work "in the future."  My wife and I were impressed that he was not trying "to sell" us on more work but simply directing our attention to structural issues that needed attention.  After some thought, we decided to make additional changes to the structure and create a modest studio for my wife to use.  After having contacted him again, he described several other things for us to consider so that our final changes would be more to our liking.  Along the way, he often made use of materials we already had in the barn and recommended ways to decrease our cost.
Although this involved a larger cost than we had originally planned, we are both very satisfied with the final product.  Scott on several occasions made changes to his work because he wasn't satisfied with the "look".  He pays attention to detail in all that he does and stops his work to consult with his client when he can suggest a better way of approaching a situation.  On several occasions he asked whether we would mind him doing work for other clients when their backordered materials were received.  He let us know how long the other small jobs would take and he returned when he predicted that he would.
I plan to work with him again in the future to have kitchen/dining room work done.  I found him to be trustworthy and I highly recommend anyone to consider him for their home repairs.
