Steve and his crew arrived on time on the date promised. They tore down the old rotting wall on my porch and built a new wall and framed and rehung the screen door. The quality of materials used and the work done was all top notch!

The wall is now safe, strong and looks better than ever.

Before they left, they cleaned everything up. Very good job guys!

I would definitely recommend Steve and his crew and would not hesitate to call him again.

Thanks Steve!!

Steve called the day after I applied to Angies's List, and set a prompt time to give consultation on the removal and replacement of our kitchen door and the outer storm door. We had been having water seeping in when it rained. By the following day he contacted us with an estimate and approximate date of the service he would be be available to perform the work. The estimate was very fair and within what we expected. He was to start work in the morning we'd agreed on, and having been delayed in picking up materials through no fault of his, he promptly called me to report that he'd be an hour late. I appreciated the call so I wouldn't be wondering if he was coming or not (having had experience with other contractors who eventually did not show up without explanation, wasting my time waiting).
The quality of the work done before installation of door as well as the final installation was of excellent standard. He gave attention to why we had been having water seep in when it rained, and showed me what he'd done to correct this. I am confident that (though not likely) should water should still come in, Steve would come back to take care of it. He demonstrated strong skills, honesty, professionalism, friendliness and advice. The final work was neat and beautiful. The area of installation was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend choosing Steve for any home owners needs addressed by the Cormier Construction Company. I know that I will keep his card and phone number for my future needs.

My house had been gutted by a cleaning
company who decided not to complete the work. I interviewed Steve from Cormier
Construction who gave a very competitive quote which included many changes from
the original house design. I was very impressed his answers to my questions
regarding the renovations. My designs completely changed the layout of my
house. My design including moving windows, adding an exterior door,
removing garage doors and replacing with 2- 6' sliding window, moving my
kitchen from the back of the house to the front, replacing a picture window
with a 5' sliding window. Expanding main bathroom and children's bedrooms,
relocating my laundry room to the main level and lastly turning the garage into
a great room.

Cormier Construction was able to work from my
computer generated designs, Steve made design change suggestions along the way which
made perfect sense, and we ended up incorporating those changes. Examples of
these suggestions were not closing off the laundry room with a door, this
allowed us to hear when laundry was completed, changing a two-level island
design to a single level do to the fact that I had low ceiling height and it
would give a better overall appearance. Turning a plain master bath into
a true en suite with a massive 6' shower with double shower heads. He also
suggested using a skip trowel finish on my ceilings. Steve's employees
and subcontractors were totally respectful, professional and extremely skilled.
The construction crew did a phenomenal job with the remodeling, I actually had
them flip flop windows, moving one shorter window to my laundry room and moving
that longer window to my dining room. As part of my designs I had walls
moved and removed, closets created where there weren't any and door added.
They also installed my newly designed kitchen with Center Island as well,
it's just amazing. The plasterer did an amazing job, the walls are like glass
and his skip trowel on for my ceilings and closets are just incredible. The
flooring and tile subcontractor installed 1400 sf of chocolate bamboo strand
click-loc flooring in just 2 days! He also installed a mortar bed mosaic
tile shower floor in the master bath, with stone and glass accent tile border;
in the main bath he tiled the floor and walls with a glass accent tile and
installed floor tile in my laundry room, all of which took less than a week to
do. I must tell you the finished product is exactly like my designs. I am
beyond pleased. Everyone of Steve's subcontractor’s attention to detail
was amazing, my house literally looks absolutely beyond stunning. I loved
my house before the house fire, but now it's truly my dream house and it's all
because of Cormier Construction and his subcontractors and their ability to
make my dream a reality. Thank you Steve, Luke, Dan, Matt and Joe, I am
truly gratefully for everything you did for me.

He was profesional in responding quickly to our first call for an estimate. He was prepared with material samples and suggestions on how best to approach the projest. His estimate was profesionally presented in detail. His workmanship and dedication to the job were remarkable considering subfreezing temperatures, ice, snow and rain .

I had saved Steve's business card for several years from when he was recommended by a granite company to remove an old counter top. He made a good impression on me and I had showed him my porch at the time, so when I decided to remodel the porch I called him. He does excellent work. He models his company after Holmes on Holmes, "do it right". He gave me an estimate which matched what I expected and ordered Harvey windows for the porch. It took a few weeks for them to come in but once they did, Steve came to do my job very quickly. He works quietly, cleans up, and does the best he can for the customer. The original porch is off the back of the two-family house on the second floor. It had been quite flimsy with large aluminum windows w/screens but between the windows were only 1 x 3 boards. We eliminated two windows on the ends of the porch and kept the four windows across the back. That gave me more wall space and there is also a bit more wall between each window. That is where he added insulation, which will make the porch much more useable in the winter. With a small space heater, it might be used for a lot of the winter. Everything is tight and sealed. The room will no longer be for storage and cats. It makes a great breakfast room with a view of the back yard trees. Steve also advised me that the first floor porch under mine is much more sturdy and if I replaced all the windows, the cost would be only $1,000 or less. I will definitely make that a project for the 2013 taxes.
