The work was completed in a timely fashion without any delays. High quality and long lasting construction material was used. The objective was to regulate the flow of water by creating a dam on my property that contained water. I no longer have to be concerned that my basement with be flooded. The problem is solved. I definitely would use this company again for additional projects. This company was responsive to s as ll if my concerns. It was a stress free situation.

I hired Al to completely renovate my out of date house. He took the house completely down to studs and then rebuilt it according to code, my desires, and what was best. The work included, demolition, leveling the house, insulation, new heating system, new electrical system, new plumbing, remodel kitchen, remodel bathroom, removal of a wall, moving of a wall, installation of hardwood floors, and paint. When I called for a quote he set up a date to come give a quote immediately, he had all of his subcontractors there in a 2 hour window, and had a full quote to me very quickly. The entire process was amazing, he was on time, there were no surprises at the end, and he was a professional the whole time. The work he did was top notch, I still can't believe I am in the same house as before.

We used Al to finish our basement when we moved into our condo in 2015. This January, we called Al to have a complete remodel of our kitchen done. In 23 days - yes 23 days - Al completely gutted the kitchen, arranged for granite counters, cupboards and old appliances to be taken away and then proceeded to build us a kitchen that is not only functional - it is beautiful! He had to match in hardwood flooring and I still cannot see where the new flooring begins. Al is a craftsman in every sense of the word; his skill in every aspect of building and remodeling is outstanding, he is neat, cleans at the end of every days work, he is always on time and puts in a full day starting with his single glass of iced coffee. He does not stop to eat! He expects any contractors that he brings in to have the same high standards that he has, so we are confident that all aspects of the remodel would meet, if not exceed, our expectations. He has an uncanny ability to look at the big picture and thinks of everything that could go wrong so that if it does - he has a plan. His attention to detail was much appreciated as he was dealing with a true OCD homeowner. His affable personality makes it easy to consider him a friend by the time he is finished with the job. There are not enough stars to match our high esteem and recommendation for Al (Catcon LLC).

We hired Al to build an addition off the back of our house and remodel much of the existing house. The addition included a living room/dining room combo, master bedroom with master bath and walk-in closet. He also remodeled two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room and converted a small bedroom into a laundry room. My family and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s exactly how we wanted it. Al was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Al!

Top notch job completed by Catcon. They removed existing insulation, sealed up any openings to prevent pests from entering and installed new insulation in my basement. Al is a professional, well organized, and did an outstanding job. Clean up was superb!

I had an unfortunate experience with a different contractor & ended up needing to let him go! Al stepped in and professionally & expeditiously completed two bathrooms in a very short turnaround time. He communicated very well throughout the job, his pricing was fair & both my bathrooms came out just as I had hoped! I wouldn't hesitate to refer Al to anybody needing work done in their home!

We hired Al to add on to our house and remodel the majority of the existing. It was a big project and one we kept adding things to. Al was wonderful to work with and was very accommodating. Our house is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely hire Al again and recommend him to others.

I hired Al to take down my old deck and build a new one. Al is a true craftsman with a high level of professionalism. The project was done on time and within budget. He works with a high degree of professionalism.I have hired Al to do our family bathroom. 5 Stars is not enough to express my satisfaction on a job well done.

We hired Al to replace the stairs in our raised ranch in preparation for finishing the basement. Two other contractors bid on the project, and we're so glad we went with Al. His craftsmanship is outstanding. He came up with creative, practical solutions to the many problems our horrible stairs presented, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. He accommodated all of my requests, and made sure we were communicating clearly when changes were made to the original plan. When his tile contractor was not available, he did the tile on the landing himself, and I still smile whenever I look at it. Everyone who knows what our stairs looked like before, including the building inspector and our boiler technician, has praised the quality and appearance of Al's work. On top of that, he's a very personable man, easy to work with, very considerate. Now that we are going ahead with the basement finishing, we are confident that Al will do the job to the same superior standard. He is again facing many challenges, and I'm sure that again the results will not only meet code and deliver on all that we ask but will be better than we imagined. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone who wants the job done right.

Our bathroom was totally gutted except for our porcelain bathtub, which we wanted to keep. There were many unexpected challenges along the way, both structural and design. Al was amazing. His motto was ,"There are no problems, only solutions." Al is an excellent craftsman and we are delighted with our beautiful new bathroom. We will definitely be calling on Al again for future projects.

Al was very accommodating schedule-wise and always arrived on time. He gave an accurate estimate and did excellent work. He was a very pleasant person to deal with. Will call him again for any future projects.

We own Boston House of Pizza in East Providence. we contracted Al to make a rear entrance for the rear parking lot of our building and to close off a side entrance. Al exceeded all our expectations. He completed all the work on time and with great workmanship. He also listened to anything extra I asked of him and actually did all the extras I requested. Very rare in this day and age. Easy going guy which makes it very easy to communicate with him. Even our air conditioning man who saw Al's work took us aside and said "Your contractor did very nice job over here". (You don't ever hear these guys talking about other contractors like that. Very proud of the finished work and would highly reccommend this very skilled professional (and really good guy) to anyone looking for a contractor

I've been struggling with writing this review for some time because describing Al's work accurately requires so many superlatives it comes off as too good to be true. I hired Al to replace a barely adequate 10' x 12' wooden deck with a 16' x 16' screened porch that ended in a 16' x 6' open deck. The transformation to the entire house is unbelievable. It is no exaggeration to state that from the pouring of the footings to the final finishing touches, Al surprised me again and again with the care he took to create a masterpiece we will treasure for years to come. Al truly cares about his work. His attention to detail is mind-blowing and his integrity is beyond question. If like me, you thought that worry-free construction without a single hitch was an impossible dream, then hire Al. You will be pleasantly surprised. He brings years of experience and a level of professionalism to your project that will make you a customer for life.

Al did a great job and was very accommodating and considerate of my schedule. He re laminated our counter tops and did it all in one day. He is an excellent craftsman and I would use him again.

We hired Al of Catcon LLC to finish our master bathroom remodel after our prior contractor has walked off the job in the middle of it. We interviewed 4-5 other contractors before selecting Catcon LLC. Al of Catcon LLC took on our project, corrected the mess the previous contractor had left behind and completed the project on time and on-budget. His work is 2nd to none. He is immaculate, professional and his craftsmanship is beautiful. HE has a great personality and is easy to work with. He did gorgeous custom mill work for us and his tile subcontractor was an artist in his craft. I would highly recommend Catcon LLC. We will be hiring Catcon for future remodeling projects!

Al did a great job on my home renovations. I needed to build stairs in a tight and difficult area along with other remodeling (putting doors in, knocking down walls, moving doorways, adding closets, patching floors, etc. The other contractors who came to look at the project seemed confused--completely stumped by the challenges of the house and job. Al took all of the obstacles in stride with a confident, positive attitude. I even learned some tricks of the trade from him and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Good work and a good guy.

Al did an excellent job in repairing several areas of drywall and ceiling damage. Al identify all major issues with drywall and repaired all areas. Al workmanship is focused on quaility. He installed custom crown moulding that required special cuts that came out perfect. He is great to work with . If you are looking for someone that is honest, quality focused and works excellent with his customer than I highly recommend Al.

Al recently built a pool deck at our home. Al's quality of work, professionalism, ethical business practices, and desire to please blew us away. We fully intend on utilizing him on future projects, and are so thankful that we found him!
