They found a couple hundred dollars of work to be done. They then finally said it would be $3-$6,000 to make the needed repairs and could not guarantee it would run. They then said they could also junk it, which I paid them to do. I then began using my own car and had trouble with my car as well and wanted to make sure it would pass inspection. I brought it in and they found many things wrong. They said I needed a new cam timer. They installed it and told me I would have to drive a few hundred miles to set it and come back after the complete the inspection. After I did this, they then advised it needed a new cam timer shaft and that only a dealership could do install it. When I brought the car to a dealer, They said there was no point in doing the work, as it needed many other repairs and had a hole in the floorboard. They said it wasn’t worth repairing as the cost to fix the floorboard was so high. They couldn't believe why King's Auto had done all of the previous work and preparation for the inspection because it wouldn't pass with a hole in the floorboard anyway. I then went online months later and checked a carfax report for my late fiance’s SUV and found out that it was for sale. The BBB closed my case because King's Auto responded to the complaint and said the technician had been doing inspections for (10) years and that no one was previously dis-satisfied with his work.
