Called J Riccitelli to do fall cleanup, removal of leaves and gutter cleaning. I went with him despite getting many other quotes for less because I felt he would do a better job since it cost more and I spoke with him about what exactly would be done. I have a small yard, 1 story ranch home and got an estimate of $120 for gutters and $160 for the cleanup. What I got was 1 guy on the roof blowing the leaves out of the gutters (making a mess of the house and car with debris flying) then he blew the leaves into a pile in the front yard and one in the back as high as the 4ft and about 25ft long. He did not move anything in the yard, just blew the leaves and if they were caught he left it. My yard is more of a mess now than it was before he came. I spoke with him several times and was told the leaves would be removed. I had done the leaves several times this season myself and only hired someone because I wanted my gutters cleaned and flushed out and the remainder of the leaves removed. He charged $280 for blowing leaves and didnt even do that well! "Yard cleanup"=blow leaves in a giant pile (not even in the front yard) and give you the name of a company that will pick them up for $100 more! Do not do business with this company! See pictures!!!

I called John 2 times and left a message both times asking him to return to remove all of the rocks that he left on the lawn and to examine the poor results of the new grass. The new grass that did grow was very spotty, and in some places no grass grew at all, so I still have patches of dirt in the yard. I had to purchase more grass seed and apply it myself because of the spotty grass that had grown or no grass. John never came back despite the calls and he was paid in full.

Excellent work. John was responsive when other landscaping companies would not call back or not show up when they committed to providing an estimate. His prices are reasonable and the work performed Shows attention to detail and thorough job as promised. Everything looks great. Additionally, John was responsive with snow removal with this year's winter storms. Highly recommend.

The first 6 months were fair, and then the quality of his work (and those of his employees) really plummeted. In short, he stole my money. He provided terrible service up until August, 2012 - and only with my constant telephone calls and cajoling him to complete his work on-time and as promised. My yard/lawn has never looked so bad. We moved into our home 5 years ago, and our yard was gorgeous. At this point in time, and because of his awful work, our yard is a disaster - and it will now cost me lots of money to just repair it. Starting in August, he has failed to appear to cut the grass and he will not return repeated telephone calls.
It would be a bad mistake to trust this guy at all. He works all around Rhode Island (we are a small state!). No matter what he calls his business, or re-names it, I highly recommend that you avoid his services. He completely broke my trust, and my property is a complete mess. Unless I sue him, I will not see my money returned.
