Their skill and work-ethic is amazing. They show up before eight, take a twenty-minute lunch break, and leave at five or six. No loud radio. Never a profane word. Just steady, solid work with plenty of consultation so I know what my options are. Scott is a perfectionist, so he generally recommends the best rather than the cheapest fix.
One hears all sorts of stories of contractors who start a job and then disappear for days at a time or fail to finish or clean up, etc. One sees examples of shoddy work. Scott and Carl, instead, take pride in their work and do the job the right way.
These are dependable workers who really knows their stuff (Scott has managed Home Depots and lumber yards) and will do the job right. They live in Rhode Island but travelled to Massachusetts.
The American work ethic is not extinct.
