On a recent road trip we purchased an antique mantel clock. We knew it may need some work because although it kept time it was not ringing the correct hour.
We called Gorman and were told to bring it in after 2. We arrived around 2:15 and the owner and his wife were there to greet it. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a missing adjustment lever to use when the number of chime strikes does not match the hour. He fixed it right away and when he noticed the clock's winding key was slipping, he gave us another.
He then used books he has to research the clock and its origins and made us copies.
What else can you ask for, quick, efficient and friendly service at a very good price.
We have other clocks and now we know where to go should we ever have a problem.
