Miscommunication or a bait and switch??? As a business owner, I value my customers and stand by my word. Unfortunately that isn’t the case these days- and especially not the case in this situation. After extensive conversation of what was wanted- contract written, signed, and paid for. Months later product was installed with a significant difference in what was discussed. Contact company- Dana was very defensive and said you signed the contract for a premier plus not pro. When I Inquired how would I know the difference as this was different of my discussion with the owner. Then she defensively asked “why did it take you months to notice”. Well because it was installed days ago and I mentioned to the installers the issue. Then she informed me that they were only installers and not dealers of the sunsetter although their website specifically says “dealer and installer”. Paid 100% for product, service, and installation. She insisted she wasn’t going to argue with me since I signed the contract I could pay hundreds more for what I thought I ordered. Disappointed on the professionalism and stand by- I insisted that there was some miscommunication issue because we ordered two locations on the same day and installed same day. The owner even joked saying you both ordered the exact same thing, the only difference is your sister’s is longer. Now the “extra” included on sister’s was an accident and should have never been installed that way. Get it in writing. Ask for specific details on the contract. Don’t assume what you are signing is what you discussed.

Bristol Aluminum is professional, responsive and competitively priced. They are a family run business. Their employees are also professional.
The only reason I gave them a "B" for overall experience is because they should have checked the new window ordered for us prior to scheduling the installation. When the workers came to our house, they then discovered the wrong window was ordered. This caused a few weeks delay to complete the job but the inconvenience was that I had to take another afternoon out from work. Some quality control when materials are delivered might be helpful to avoid this.
Overall, I would recommend this business.

My experience with Bristol Aluminum was excellent. My house is over 70 years old and I believe my old windows were original to the house. Needless to say last winter was a long and drafty one. Nevertheless I had been putting off getting new windows as I had heard horror stories about price and service. Thanks to Angie's List I was put in touch with Bristol Aluminum and owner Ray Card. My experience from start to finish was top notch and stress free. I was given an excellent price and within 6 weeks I now have brand new windows and doors which I love. I  give my highest recommendation to Bristol Aluminum. Anyone needing to replace their windows and doors should contact them right away.

They were fine.  The cost is sensitive.  I decided to use their service because they were the dealers in the area for the sunset blinds and I think they were exclusive.  The guy who gave the estimate was great and the other guy is also okay.  They are not felt men, they are just doing their work.  They were fine and the quality of work was great.  The price was a little high.  I heard the the advertisement on television and it was $700 but I got the upgrade that was electrical.  The $700 advertisement is referring to the smaller blinds without the electrical thing.  I had one little issue with them.  When I placed the order, I decided I would like a little automatic piece that makes it close on a windy day all by itself and they were unable to provide that after they placed the order.  I think it might have something to do with the sun setter installer.

They showed up on time and did an excellent job of installing the windows and doors.  They company was very responsive.  They arranged to have the manufacturer's representative come to the house when we had a small problem with a door.

They did a great job with the project. They covered up all exposed wood on the bottom edge of our roof. They did exactly what I wanted.

The job went quite well, I was very pleased. They used lead safe practices, and were very clean. The new windows are beautiful, and expertly installed. They did the job sooner than planned because they had an opening in their schedule. I would absolutely do buisness with them again.

They were very responsive. They even sent two employees to our house to check out the gutters to see if all or only some need replacement. They called us a short time later and set up an appointment to come and talk. We were very pleased.

It went very well.  The installers, Mike and Brian, were very attentive, answered all my questions.  They were clean, prompt and very professional.
There were a couple of issues with the windows, which were immediately taken care of.
I would not hesitate to use them again.

Sales rep (Dan) was responsive and helpful. Gave detailed explanations and no pressure. Installers were punctual, courteous and professional. They worked cleanly and efficiently. It was a two day job - one day to remove the old windows and install the new ones, then they returned a week later to install the exterior casings on the windows. Would definitely recommend this company and their products to anyone in the market for replacment windows.

They pysically came out and measured my windows and gave me a written quote that was 1/3 cheaper than my quotes from two other companies. Two installers came out and removed my old windows and framing with care. They installed my new window and finished all the little touches with equal care. Caulked and sealed all nail holes They did great work on the outside and cleaned up any junk that was left over, the aluminum frame looked great as well. They arrived on time and were done and gone before noon. Not only will I use this company again but I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone. The two installers were very professional and polite.

I was not happy with them. I did not like their workers and the quality of work that they did and I did not want them to finish the job. They ruined my floors. They came and installed the windows and there was a terrible rain storm and it was awful and there was water everywhere. I don?t recommend them to anybody. They removed my front door and dropped cloth on a floor and I don?t know what for because the rain was just coming in and then wanted to do my livening room windows with this pouring rain. They had a good price, but price isn?t everything.

They did a good installation work and performed it as described because I had checked them out other places and with other people who have used them.

I have used them before and they were very reliable. They came within 2 days to fix an issue with the window lock. Their estimate was pretty less than the next lowest bid that I got. I trust them and they are local. I am very pleased with them. They provide immediate response to any problems. I would use them again in future.

I spoke with the owner, Ray. He was easy to talk to, and very informative. I asked him questions and he gave me the answers. His information was detailed and broken down. I had called the day after Thanksgiving, and he called back the following Monday.

They were in and out in a day. They had three people. I had thirteen windows done. They took away the old windows and cleaned up after themselves.

I would recommend Bristol Aluminum highly. They did an excellent job. Bob Goodwin and his crew arrived each day early and were very courteous. He answered any question I had. (All live in the same household & I paid for the services). My mother had a small wishing well and she asked him to vinyl side that and he did. Everything is now in sync. Ray Card has a very special bunch of guys. And his office people go out of their way to help you. If you ever need something done to your house, Ray and his crews are the best.

The crew arrived about 8:45am and started work right away. They explained what they were going to do and set about to do. Covered everything near the windows and all the floors and carpets. There were two people working on the windows and another cleaning up as they went. After the windows was installed, I was showed how to open and close for cleaning. All three gentlemen were very courteous. They finished about 12:15 pm and were gone by 12:30pm. I was surprised at how quickly the job got completed. I will wait and see how the windows affect our heating bill. Hopefully it was be to the good.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, FROM THE SALESMAN ALL THE WAY TO THE INSTALL. THE NEW WINDOWS ARE REAL NICE, AND THEY MAKE OUR HOUSE LOOK MUCH BETTER. THEY WERE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO.

THIS CREW DID A GOOD JOB. OUR HOME LOOKS GOOD. THEY WERE RELIABLE, AND WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. THEY EVEN CLEANED UP EVERYDAY BEFORE THEY LEFT.

I GOT A GREAT DEAL ON THE WINDOWS, AND INSTALLATION WAS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH WE ARE SAVING ON THE HEATING BILL JUST BECAUSE OF THESE NEW WINDOWS.

THE CREW CAME IN HERE AND GOT RIGHT WORK. THEY WERE WORKING LIKE A WELL-OILED MACHINE. THEY HAD 14 WINDOWS INSTALLED IN ONLY THREE HOURS. WE MADE SURE TO STAY OUT OF THEIR WAY BECAUSE THEY WERE MAKING EXCELLENT PROGRESS AND IT TURNED OUT GREAT.

THE SALESMAN THAT CAME OUT HAD AN EXAMPLE OF THE WINDOWS THAT THEY WOULD BE PUTTING IN. THEY PUT IN 24 WINDOWS. THEY HAD THE JOB DONE IN ONE DAY. THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND POLITE. THEY HAULED OFF THE OLD WINDOWS FOR ME TOO.
