we have a sears/roebuck oil furnace from the early 60s that tends to be fairly temperamental. today it decided to smoke up the house. I called quality home energy based on previous reviews and spoke to paul who happened to be in the area and arrived within 15 minutes of taking my call! he took care of business despite a variety of complications (and despite the age of the furnace which has been met at times in the past with confused stares). now all is well. I will definitely give him my future business. the furnace is running better than in the past and I know more about it than I did before. and the price was very reasonable as well. turned what could have been a real lousy situation into a minor bump in the road. knowledgeable, thorough, prompt and fair. what more could you ask for?

I enjoyed working with Paul. He seemed very knowledgeable in his field, plus we picked his brain on a couple other house projects we were considering. He usually was able to recommend people or businesses in the area for our other needs. He was never in a rush to leave and was willing to spend as much time as necessary on the job, which I appreciated. He did show up a little bit later than he stated on 2 occasions. Once he was just 30 minutes late for an all-day job, so that didn't bother me. The other time he had a busy schedule and kept in touch with when he would arrive, so it wasn't a big deal.
Paul always answered my calls, and even when I forgot that I was supposed to call him about something...he would call me and remind me.
I feel like Paul tried to keep his prices fair, but I didn't end up getting any competing quotes to compare to. The prices were only slightly over what I expected in some cases, and I was just going by our last house, which was much smaller. He provided us with 2 options for central A/C units with different efficiency and prices. He told us the pros and cons of each, and we ended up going with the more efficient unit that cost more. The less efficient single-stage unit was $4000 compared to $5000 for the 2-stage unit.
I will definitely be using Quality HomEnergy for my future Heating and A/C needs!

Extremely reasonable pricing. Fast service. Fantastic job and workmanship. I don't regret having him come. You won't regret it either. I highly recommend him for all your heating needs. My pipes don't bang anymore and they would bang all the time before. Excellent work and extremely professional and understanding. Convenient timing with my needs. Was careful with everything he did; Wore booties and everything but really they didn't need too because my house certainly is no palace. Believe me you will not regret having this company be your heating specialist. Thanks again! I've got them on speed dial!

This company was excellent!! Our home warranty company was giving us a hard time about our broken furnace and the temperature outside was in the single digits for highs and negative overnight. During that time, the temp in our house was dropping rapidly, and our multiple calls to AHS warranty was getting us nowhere fast. They kept telling us they were 'still looking' for someone to send out to us. After waiting for 24 hrs with no heat and no help, my husband called this company and they were here within the hour. He fixed it quickly and we started to have heat back again. He was very nice, professional, and actually cared that we were freezing and took care of it quickly. 2 days later, the heat was out again. My husband called him right back and he came out again within the hour to see why it wasn't working. He said the initial problem was still ok, and so looked further up the system and found another broken part that was causing the part downstream to fail. He again fixed it in no time!
