My thermostat displayed blank one day, so I called Strine's to diagnose and fix. They arrived promptly and determined that the thermostat was bad. They offered to replace it, or said that I could get a thermostat elsewhere. I asked how you replace it, and determined that I could do it myself. They thanksed me and left, and will bill me later.

Strine was the best of 4 quotes that we received for this project. Chris' final recommendations were reasonable and the price met our budget. He even preformed another walk-through of the house just before installation so he could pass along instructions to his crew - who turned out to be top notch. They were on time every day, cleaned up after themselves and completed the job on time. We'd definitely contact Strine's Heating & AC again if we ever need that type of service.

They came to repair the furnace. The technician explained the problem with the furnace and told me what it would cost to repair. Then he proceeded to explain to me that his company could replace the furnace for the same price. Same BTU's and a 95.5 efficiency. They came the next day and installed the new furnace, took away the old one and cleaned the entire area.

I called yesterday explaining the gas furnace was making a horrible noise. They scheduled me for today between 8-12. He showed up at 10:00!! Immediately found that it was the transducer motor that was going bad. He called for the part, went and picked it up and came back and installed VERY quickly. He also fixed a minor gas leak. I appreciate someone going the extra mile and doing something that wasn't asked or expected. Thank you for being so responsive, and fixing this problem so quickly. Had this not been so quickly there is a good chance we would have had NO heat. Thanks again.
Also, I gave the price column an N/A as I haven't had time to even figure out if this was expensive or not. When its cold and you fear losing heat, price really isn't the main concern. However it did seem fair...

They were very helpful in answering our questions. They explained everything in detail. Very knowledgeable of various brands. We also did some research on the internet and they were stayed within those boundaries. Installment of the unit was within the time frame they gave us and we were pleased with how they handled that and taken away the old unit. I would recommend these folks to anyone in a heart beat.

The air conditioning blower stopped working on a 95 degree Monday. They said they would be out between 8am and 12pm on Wednesday. They showed up at 8am sharp, and had the problem diagnosed and fixed by 8:15am. The job was done flawlessly, and professionally.

contacted 6 heater/AC installers representing 4 dfferent manufactures. Also coducted online investigation into numerous units. Found several sales reps were not knowlegeable as others. DO - learn as much as possible about the equipment/language before starting process, including about your home (number/type of windows, single/double pane, square footage, warm/cool spots on home, etc.). Strine rep ranked among the most knowledgeable and helpful. Installers were professional, efficient and clean. Don't consider a unit that is oversized for your home (heatr or AC). DO make every effort to have installer provide you with references for customers who had similar equipment installed and make contact. DO consider air filter and humidifier. Ensure you get manufacturer's certificate for any available tax rebates.

On time, very professional, installation nice tight area, out of the way, my husband is an electrician and was very impressed, cleaned up very well after job, cost exactly as quoted, got to (try out) unit for 30 days before paying.

He arrived on time. He checked and serviced the outside air conditioning unit. He then went into the basement to check and service the unit/furnace. He then went through the whole house to make sure that our air returns were opened correctly. We had the bottom ones open but we should of have the top ones open. He suggested to keep the fan running all the time, not to have it on auto. This should help keep the house (particularly upstairs) cooler when running the air conditioner.
Experience was wonderful. He was informative and very helpful. Polite. Will definitely use Strine's again.
