What happened was, they asked for a review, we gave a review but we felt a little pressured because we were done and they wanted it on the spot. We had not unwrapped a number of things which as it turned out there was some breakage. Most of the people  that were working were very polite.  But I think we rushed to make a review,  in retrospect not a good thing. They said, well, if you wait till later, you get really busy. But you know, at the end of a move you just want them out of your hair. The people on the ground were really good people and good workers. We really didn't know the condition of some things until they were well out the door. We didn't have a huge number of things broken, but 5 or 6 things is a lot but we had a lot to move. They quoted the price but underestimated what was to be moved, so we had to go out the second day of the move and purchase boxes at their request at a local place. They estimated over the phone and never came to survey the job and I think that was the other thing that was probably a slip up. I don't think overall we were unhappy with their service but I guess every move has some issues. They showed up the day they said they would.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience.  The day before our move Jeff called to confirm our appointment, he was very friendly and helped put my mind at ease.  The morning of our move the movers were running ahead of schedule and called to make sure an early arrival would be ok.  When they arrived they did a walk through of our old house and gave us an estimate of how long the move would take and then they quickly got to work.  Things went very smoothly at our old house and when they arrived at our new house they were just as quick and efficient.  They estimated that the move would take 7 hours but they finished early.  I really cannot say enough wonderful things about how professional, efficient, and personable they were, although we are not planning on moving again anytime soon I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The crew was on time. They walked through the house, room by room, to review the items to be taken. They began moving boxes while I finished packing. They moved one truck then came backe for a second load. Finished in about 9 hours.

We needed a few large pieces of furniture moved around our home, including a baby grand piano. Four gentlemen came over and moved everything very quickly. I was very pleased with my overall experience. The only issue I have is with the amount of time you have to purchase. It is a minimum of 4 hours for $500.00 (4 )movers. I only needed a little over an hour, but had to pay the entire price plus tip.

They were on time, worked quickly and were very considerate. They went to extra effort to move my couch which wouldn't fit in my door.

Jeffs interview was thorough and the guys who moved us were very professional. The only hiccup was when I didnt check Jeffs email to ensure that we were on the same page regarding what was to be moved. We ended up needing them to come back the next day and things went smoothly. Although this is our last move...we would use them again in the future.

Everything went fine.  The movers arrived right on time at 7:30 AM and worked until approx. 3 PM.  They were conscientious and attentive.

They are great to work with, on time, careful, and very friendly.  I
would absolutely hire them again and definitely recommend them.

I hope I never need to move again, but if I do, I will be sure to hire Piccolo's again!  I needed to be done with the move by 5pm, so Piccolo's was accommadating to start at 6:30am.  The team started assemblying 15 minutes before start time and the team of 5 had begun working promptly by 6:30am.  My two story three bedroom house was fully packed and loaded on the trucks by 11am.  They took a 1 hour lunch break.  By 4pm, everything was unloaded at my new residence in the respective rooms.

Jeff, sent me an email about the rooms and items I wanted moved as a confirmation. Jeff also called me the day before the move to ensure  everything was still good for our move. The morning of the move the team showed up at the time they said they would, they also called on their way to my house. The moving team was four guys, with one of them being the foreman. The crew was very friendly. They all introduced themselves to me before we did a walk through of my house to confirm and identify what was being moved. They were very good with our stuff. They took their time on some very heavy pieces that needed to be moved from the 2nd floor. They actually did a better job moving the items than the delivery company that delivered the items to our home originally. They wrapped all furniture in the room before they moved it to the truck. They also took apart all the beds and bed frames and wrapped those items as well. They also moved our upright piano. 
Upon arriving at our new house, again they were very courteous and asked where all the pieces should go. They reassembled all the items they had disassembled. They were careful bringing in all the pieces and boxes. As we unpack or looked over our furniture we did not see any damage. It was a long day and the crew worked very hard from beginning to the end. They made my family very happy by getting us setup in our new home. This was our first experience using a mover and we were afraid of all the rumors about bad experiences with movers. I am glad to say that Piccolo's Friendly Movers, has proved those to be nothing but rumors. Our experience was very positive and I would not hesitate using them or recommending them to someone who needs to move. 

Set up was by phone and email.  We did not have an onsite inspection prior to move date.  I was expecting some adjustments to the agreed price range when the crew saw what we had to move.  The team arrived within the window of time they said they would, ca. 7:30 A.M. . After a walk-through there was only a minor adjustment to the price (frankly much lower than i expected it to be.) The team of 4 men went right to work at a constant pace. Because there were some belongings that were remaining in the house I had to be clear what went and what stayed.  They were very patient with my indecisiveness about some items and explained their packing process through the morning. The team went to extra lengths to disassemble certain furnishings and wrapped them well.
  They arrived at the new residence in a timely manner and quickly went about unloading, taking the various items to the rooms (ground level, second floor & enclosed basement) as I directed.  There were a few very minor 'dings', nothing that I expected compensation for, especially when moving extra heavy pieces. They had to go around to the back entrance to bring in my large, double reclining couch and it still didn't fit through the doors. So they disassembled it, brought it in, and reassembled it without complaint. The job was completed by 2:30 PM.
Over all I was very pleased with their work, price and friendliness. If I have to move again (God forbid), I will call on Piccolo's.

We did not use this provider.  Did not come to the home and actually see residence and contents.  Did a "walk through" over cell phones asking what was in each room.  Not professional in any way.

Really came through for me on short notice. Was half the price of other quotes and movers were polite and efficient.

They were very polite and efficient.  They stayed beyond the committed time as I had under estimated the job.  The price was also very reasonable.  They really went out of their way to give the best customer service.  I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were.  They were better than family!  Everyone associated with the entire company was fantastic to work with from the owner to the crew that came out to pack my belongings.  They exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds!  I would highly recommend them, they are rockstars!  I would put them in the Angie's List Hall of Fame if there was one!

Jeff, the owner was helpful and organized. When quoting the rate and scheduling the move, he made a reminder call a few days before just to let me know all is well. All of the movers were great! They worked together.

Did not use booties when moving my furniture out of the apartment and left dirt on the floor. At destination used same drop clothes and was not as dirty afterwards.

Amazing guys did an excellent job, could never than them enough.

We were quoted a time of 12:30 but actually early at 12. They were very friendly and introduced themselves. We walked them through the apt and it went great.
