Miller Bros - York

My Dyson worked perfectly until I took it to Miller’s Bros. I wanted my vacuum cleaned and that all that needed to be done! They called to tell me the cost of the repair... I was shocked because there was nothing wrong with it. They claim that it needed a new part which would cost $135. After I told them to look on the service tag for my original request that’s when they said there would be no charge. Meanwhile, I am left with a broken Dyson vacuum cleaning. Stay away from Miller’s Bros! I will never go there again. I usually go to Oreck vacuum service center. I could kick myself for not going there.

They called me 2 days later and said the machine was repaired and ready to be picked up. They cleaned out some dog hair and replaced the belts for a total of $63.59 which I thought was reasonable. However the first time i used the vacuum after getting it home it it started making a rattling noise as soon as I turned it on and after about 5 minutes it made a loud screeching sound and then died. I also discovered that one of the plastic prongs which attach the door to the bottom of the canister was cracked and hanging by a thread. I will not go back there again!
