OUTSTANDING WORK ETHIC, SUPERIOR KNOWLEDGE OF HARDSCAPING AND LANDSCAPING MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES AND A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH!
Mike and his team were outstanding from the initial discussion of the project to estimated costs, planning, execution and finalization, this project could NOT have gone any better. The crew assigned to this project were on the job promptly at 8 AM and did not leave until after 5 PM each day. They even worked an extra day due to impending rain to finalize work on the stone wall behind the waterfall.
From beginning to end nothing was trivialized or ignored. They took no shortcuts and communicated every step of the way.
Mike (the owner) has gathered a group of experienced stone and landscape personnel who stay with your project from beginning to end. Once the project is started they do not stop until it is done. I will be using this firm again for other projects around our home.

Called Matt Gruver, Landscape designer, and had him come out to the house and talk about what we wanted to do to enhance our front landscape. He had several ideas to go along with what we had in mind. He was very responsive and would always call me back if I got his voicemail. He was always very professional and easy to work with. He worked up a proposal that we thought was reasonable and much lower than another landscaping company we talked to. The work was delayed a couple of weeks due to rain and other projects that were schedule ahead of us, which is understandable. Once the work began, Matt and his team were punctual, worked efficiently and always cleaned up very well. Matt had said the job should take 1-2 days and it took 3 due to some rain on first day and it was broken up over 4th of July holiday. Overall, we are happy with the work that Keeping It Green provided and would recommend them to others, although we did have a few minor problems. My wife had to point out to them that the edging on the one side of the house was going to go all the way down to backyard fence, not turn into the foundation immediately past the front porch-this was addressed in a revised proposal with Matt. If she did not come outside and catch that it would have been more work for them to redo, as I was at work during all of the project time. Second, some of the curbstone that was laid around the front dogwoods were cut at very poor angles and did not look good enough for the money we were paying. I discussed this with Matt, sent him some pics and he agreed that it was subpar and he did send a guy out to repair the edging to our satisfaction. And lastly, during the digging for the edging in front, they nicked our electrical line to lampost and they did let us know and we checked at that time and it worked. A week later it kept tripping off and Matt was apologetic but stated they could not be responsible for that. He said most homeowners mark or label this line before a job like this?  That's news to me,  but he was professional and understanding about it. Home warranty had to come fix it at our cost. Again, these were not major problems, but ones that needed addressed. We are happy with our front landscaping and believe we have increased the value of our property with the work that was done. I did water the trees and bushes throughout the summer into fall, as instructed by Matt. We'll have to wait until spring to see how they hold up-Year warranty on plantings.

They mow lawns well and it saves me a lot of time. I would recommend them to friends and family members. I will continue to use them.
