Great! The team was great to work with and very responsive. They offered very good ideas and incorporated our vision. They even relocated a very large Japanese Maple tree that we thought we'd have to cut down. Highly recommend this team!

The job went very well. The pond was drained and cleaned. The fish were kept in a rubbermaid tote and after water was put back into the pond, an additive was added to keep the algae to a minimum. The fish were put back into the pond. All the plants were returned to the pond also.  I have gotten many comments on my pond since it has been cleaned. It looks great!

After giving him a deposit we did not hear from him for 2 weeks. When the job was finished, it took several weeks to get him to comeback to put a custom cut piece in.

We talked to 3 different companies about the work to be done and received 3 very different quotes. The reason we picked Irvine is because we felt we were getting the most value and better product for our money.  Kevin Irvine took all our concerns into consideration and delineated our quote as such.  Some things that were less important (things that were optional to us ? in our case the front flowerbeds), he put less emphasis on and was able to save us some money there.  Kevin came out to get the information for the estimate, and then came out again to go over everything in the estimate with us, answered our questions and addressed our concerns.  He was also willing to work with us to keep the project affordable for us.

I will say, his proposal was a little old school ? hand written on carbon paper ? and more generalized than all the details we talked about in person, but I still felt confident that I would get the end results we discussed.

During the project, Kevin was onsite with his crew.  They started by removing the shrub, stumps, and roots, and were very thorough, working extra hard to remove stumps that were very close to the house by hand. Kevin even offered to pull 2 other stumps that were beside the garage ? something that was not discussed in the estimate.  I was glad he offered and certainly took him up on it.

The flowerbeds are great, they did a deep edging around the beds, planted the new flowers, shrubs, and trees, and added a thick layer of black mulch.  All beds are flared as they meet the driveway or fencing to make mowing easier.

The 3? x 70? walkway is a thing of beauty.  We chose a paver from Hanover Architectural Products, recommended by Kevin. His team did amazing job installing it, curved it around a garden and flared it as it meets the garage entrance and the house entrance.  We couldn?t be happier with how it came out, it looks amazing!

The final piece was topsoil, grading, and seeding the back yard where we had had 4 big trees taken down. Everything looks great. Kevin went over everything with us regarding care of the trees and plants and the new grass seed.  We look forward to enjoying our new back yard!!  I would recommend Kevin and his crew to anyone and everyone!
