After interviewing several area wedding photographers, we met with Cassandra Storm approximately six months before our wedding.  We were impressed with the images that she showed us and we decided to sign a contract at that meeting for the services of one of her other photographers, Joy Bohrer, to photograph our wedding.  We paid a deposit of  50% of the contract at that time.   We then heard nothing from Cassandra until one month before our wedding when we contacted her to set up a meeting with Joy Boher, who would be photographing our wedding.   We completed the 8 page form with details of our wedding and returned it to her.  We were informed that we would be unable to meet with Joy because she moved out of state and was not available, but scheduled a phone meeting with Cassandra ten days before our wedding to review what photos we wanted to be taken.  During that meeting we found out that we needed to allow an extra 2 hours before the ceremony for photos to be taken, which meant that we had to completely revise our wedding day plan and hair and make up appointments.  This would not have been an issue had Cassandra been more proactive in  the planning process and contacted us earlier to finalize our photography plan.  When we told Cassandra about our having to re-arrange our schedule, she said  that we did not have to do that and that Joy would work with our schedule, but  we had already made the changes and were not going to change it back with such a short time until our wedding.
On our wedding day, Joy and her assistant, Leslie  Douglas, arrived on time and were great to work with - professional,  fun and flexible.  A few days after our wedding, Cassandra posted 700+ photos in a client gallery for us on her website.  We, however were on an extended honeymoon.  Within four days of our return home, we responded to an email from Cassandra and asked her to send us the DVD of the images so that we could choose which ones we wanted as proofs.  When we received it a few days later, we reviewed the images, selected our proofs, and returned our list to Cassandra within the timeframe that she specified.  She replied: "You are the last bride that I am promising to have everything completed for Christmas.  We have four weddings ahead of yours so you will not see anything till middle of November, I am guestimating.   My editor is in overtime now and I have an additional helper for our airbrushing start today so we will see if we can deliver faster than that.  I will keep you posted on our progress and am very excited to see your favorite pics.  Thank you for working so hard to get that into us so quickly."  With this in mind, we planned on giving several prints of our wedding photos to family and friends as Christmas gifts.
Thanksgiving came and went and we heard nothing from Cassandra on the status of our proofs.  On the Monday after Thanksgiving, we emailed her to inquire as to the progress on them. Two days later we received a message saying that she would let us know when the images were online. Another two days go by (now 15 days before Christmas) and we are notified by email that our images are online, but that we have to order any prints by Sunday (this was Friday) because she was going out of town on Monday (didn't say for how long.)  Cassandra also said "Orders are going slow so if you put an order in this week, it won't ship out till Monday the 19th but should make it to you before Christmas, without a hitch."  Okay, so we placed an order for 10 prints (8X10 and 5X7 - nothing special) online through a third-party website that she uses a couple of days later thinking that the order went to the third-party processor directly.  Apparently, that was not the case, and Cassandra had to do something with the order before it was processed (??) by the third-party printer.  When we contacted her two days before Christmas, we found out that she did not submit our order until three-days prior.   Cassandra said that she emailed the third-party processing company to try to find out the status of our order, but had no information for us on whether or not we would receive the prints before Christmas.
Our print order arrived on Dec. 27th.   We ordered four 5x7 prints and only received three of them.   Also, the cropping on  one of the  8x10  prints cut off two of the people in the photo. We contacted Cassandra that day and described the issues with the prints in detail and asked her to correct them.  We received no response for nine days until we received an email stating that our prints would be corrected.  Cassandra stated in her email:  "I must have missed communicating with you that all orders for Christmas had to be received by October 1st and I apologize for that miss-communication."  I guess she forgot what she had stated earlier: "You are the last bride that I am promising to have everything completed for Christmas."  We received the corrected prints in early January.
To sum it up, we ended up with some really nice images of our wedding day thanks to Joy Bohrer and Leslie Douglas. However, because of  the lack of  timely communication before the wedding which led to us scrambling to change our pre-wedding schedule, the delays in getting our proofs completed (we didn't ask for any special effects or airbrushing), the delays in Cassandra processing our print order once we finally received our proofs, the mistakes in our print order and the unfufilled (and un-recalled) promises regarding when we could expect to receive what we paid for, we cannot recommend Cassandra Storm Photography.  In our opinion, Cassandra and her team are talented photographers, but they need to be more proactive in managing the pre-planning and post-event  processing aspects of their services.
