The original company that refered him (Coal Energy) was purchased by Anderson Chimney Sweep. They finally came out and installed the cap that Matt had taken from Coal Energy and never showed up to install. Upon inspection they found there is no insulation on the lining (which i paid for and is required by code). Residual creosote was not removed before install and the lack of insulation had caused a fire. Anderson now needs to uninstall and reinstall properly and we are not allowed to use our unit. This lack of concern on install could have burned down our house and killed our family. I will be persuing legal action. Do not trust this contractor...watch every step of his work.
