After noticing some cracks in our walls, I reached out to Paul to schedule an inspection. He was professional and went through our whole home, including the attic and scrawl spaces to get some closer looks, explaining each area. Luckily, Paul informed us that 99% of what were were seeing was cosmetic and what to just keep an eye on over the next several years. Best money I've spent for peace of mind and more importantly, honesty. We will definitely call Paul again in the future if needed.

He did a short consultation and did some sketches on site describing a couple of solutions. He did not rush and was very helpful.

Awesome. Paul drew a detailed diagram so that a carpenter can solve the problem. He spent a great deal of time analyzing the situation and devised a custom plan for my situation, He also gave me a "plan B" in case this solution easy fix doesn't solve the problem. I have had contractors tell me what the issue is, but I finally have a solution. I would certainly recommend Paul.

Paul was wonderful and he was very friendly to work with. He arrived on time and performed the work quickly and efficiently. He quickly wrote the report and sent us a digital version while the official paper version was in the mail. I would definitely work with him again in the future.

Professional, efficient.

We examined the entire house, from basement to attic.
In the basement, there was one issue: there are four steel columns that support wooden beams that run the width of the house. Those columns are rusting away, and thus they require replacement or reinforcing. It is possible that many houses in my neighborhood have a similar problem.
He inspected the rest of the house very professionally, pointing out anything that he found unusual. The major item of interest that he mentioned is that the roof is supported by trusses. The trusses move vertically, by their nature - so, for example, I have "nail pops" in some ceilings in the second floor rooms due to truss behavior.
He sent me an email report, briefly summarizing what he examined and commented on.

I hired Structural Engineering Services to inspect a wall that I wanted to remove between my kitchen and dining room.  I needed an engineer's report in order to pull a permit from my borough to provide proof that the wall is non-load bearing.  I was able to get an appointment in less than a week.  A. Paul showed up on time, was personable, professional, and got straight to work.  He was very thorough, taking almost an hour to inspect, measure, and document, with drawings and photos, the exposed joists and beams under the wall in the basement, the wall in question on the main floor, and the rooms above it on the third floor.  I received the detailed report on the day that he said I would.  I think it was one of the best "hired service" related experiences I've ever had.

They did a great job! We purchased our home about 7 months ago. When we purchased it, there were some cracks in our foundation as well as some slanting of our floors. After reviewing several structural engineers, we decided to go with Structural Engineering Services. Andriy did a very thorough inspection of our structure and provided solutions to all of our issues. In total, he spent between 90 minutes to 2 hours performing the inspection. In addition, he'll be sending a report of the inspection (the inspection took place only 2 days ago).

He viewed cracks and explained possible causes. I'm not mechanically inclined, yet he was able to explain so that I was able to understand. He then emailed me instructions for contractors, including drawings.
