Kevin Brunner was referred to us by friends who had him do a much larger renovation, and really liked the work he did. Once work started, Kevin and Don kept at it until job was finished. Usually got here shortly after 8:30am Monday thru Thursday. He did a great job.

Kevin was very responsive and knowledgeable about what we needed. He met me at the house (on time) to look over the worksite and discuss the project. After our meeting I felt confident that he knew exactly what needed to be done. The installation went smoothly in the timeframe that was needed and I'm very pleased with the results. The ceiling looks great, plus he bricked up a small crawl space and covered a broken window. His price was a bit higher than another quote I had received, but I went with this company because of the professionalism and responsiveness that I was afforded throughout the process.

He did a good job. Even though my job was a little small for his work, he worked me in.

Kevin met with us several times to explain what needed to be done as well as the timeline we would need to follow to get the work done in the timeframe that we wanted. The men who showed up to do the work were on time every day and were very courteous. They even payed attention to our dog when he needed attention in the morning. We are very happy with the work and impressed that Kevin took the time to match the trim in the kitchen to the rest of our first floor.

The only criticism we have is that Kevin is not cheap but he does excellent work and is very reliable. And sometimes it takes him a few days to return your calls but we have experienced that with almost everyone we have worked with. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Kevin to my neighbors.

We have since used Kevin for other jobs in our home including building a gate and finishing our deck that was left unfinished by other handymen.

The roof leaked and I had to have another contractor come out and fix it. I would never work with him again. He put a brand new roof on and didn't replace the flashing. I called them many times when it was leaking and I was not getting a good response back, so that's why I had to get someone else. I couldn't let it just keep leaking and I didn't know what type of warranty I had on the roof. I think he gave me one year on the work, but the roof itself should've been under some warranty. Maybe it was my own fault for not understanding what my warranty was, so it was not a good experience. There was a roof on the back that had skylight windows and he didn't replace the windows and those leaked too, so I had to get a third company out here who was really good. When he first came out to do the job he was punctual, but I kept having to call him and couldn't get him to come back. When he came out he gave me a nice look and see. He showed me what kind of shingles he had and told me when he could do the job. If would've done a good job I had some other work to do and I think would've used him for that. It was weird because my son who does concrete work recommended him and he then felt bad about it.

I called him on Monday, he scheduled the work, and he completed it on Friday of the same week.

Kevin came promptly to give us an estimate. In evaluating the job he gave us a variety of options and patiently explained each one. The work was scheduled in a reasonable time. He had all the supplies and fixtures available before he began the work. His two workmen were clearly craftsmen. They covered the bedroom floor outside the bathroom to protect it. They cleaned up as they went. The work was done in two days.

We learned about Brunner home improvement from our next door neighbors, who use the company for any remodeling they do. We have been extremely satisfied with the work that Kevin has done. It is all very, very good quality, though it may not be the cheapest. Kevin is dependable and pleasant and his crew (2 men) has worked with him for years. The work site is always left clean.
