Scammers.. beware... electrician in training located the issue and suggested the fix while the master tech stated the appliance was the issue. Sent two techs for a one man job and over charged me per technician. Beware.

The replaced the whole unit and the service the gave was very good.

Team was on time, professional and cleaned up after the job. Price was very competitive as well compared to other quotes. I would use again.

I would probably use them again. But I have to start using everything and to make sure that wiring is correctly fixed. It depends on how much wiring on what circuit, hopefully we have enough circuit there should be no problem.

Very professional, quality work. They are a bit pricey but are first class in terms of professionalism and quality of outcome. I have now used them 4 times and will likely use them again.

It was good. I've used them before. They put in my electrical service box in the main part of the house too, that was years ago. That's why I called them back. They were very good and their prices compared to other electrical companies is very fair.

Bob came out initially to see the location and provide an estimate.  I re-contacted the company 1 week later to schedule a time to get the work done.  I was able to get on the schedule within one week of my call so I did not have to wait very long.  I was given an expected time of arrival between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.  No one arrived and I did not get a call regarding a delay.  I called the company at 3:05pm and was told the electrician was still on a prior job and that they would call me back later to tell me when to expect his arrival.  No one called back but two individuals from the company arrived at 3:35pm.  Since communication seemed to be an issue, I re-confirmed the scope work with them.  Luckily I did that since they were going to install aluminum wire instead of the 6 gauge copper wire that had been stated in the electric vehicle outlet specifications I had given/shown Bob during the estimate appointment. The two electricians completed the job in 30 minutes.
I would use this company again because:
1. Someone answered the phone when I called to set up the appointment for the estimate. I did not have to leave a message and wait for a call back one week later as with other companies.
2. I was able to set up appointments within 2 days for the estimate and within 6 days to schedule the actual work.
3. The electrician(s) did what I asked after I reconfirmed the scope of work.

I was given a quote of $125.00 to replace 4 smoke alarms that  I supplied when I made the appointment.  After the smoke alarms were installed the price was $175.00.  The electrician said that I was paying for 2 electricians since he came with a partner.  I did not know that I needed to request one electrician only.  For this reason I would not use this company again because the price changed after the service was completed.

I called B C Electric two days prior to them arriving. I had asked for an estimate on running a new electric line for a stove. Everyone in Pittsburgh loves gas stoves, but I like the ceramic cooktop surface that you only find on an electric stove and my gas stove conveniently died, leaving me free to install an electric oven.
They arrived and gave me the estimate and then offered to do the work right then. I took them up on it. They were finished in 45 minutes.
They took all of the debris away with them and the work was just super.
This has allowed me to not have any down time without an oven, mine is being delivered tomorrow morning.
This is not the first time that B C has been in our house to do work. In March of 2014, they worked as a subcontractor when we had a general contractor build an addition for us. B C Electric did all of the wiring. That job consisted of doing the wiring for three rooms and a bath.
They were quick and good then and they were the same today.
Their price was fair. I felt like I received a great service at a decent price.

I feel that everything went fine but as the electrician finished the job he told me about additional work that needs to be done within the next year, as he put it.

They installed a new 150amp electrical service with an up to date service box and added additional outlets in the garage for a woodworking shop.

It was excellent. I needed to get a new fuse box because the outside line had deteriorated and water had seeped into the fuse box so that was wet and they came out on an emergency call to check it out and within 48 hours, they were there to complete the service. They didn't think they can get it in for a week but then they called me the next day, and within 48 hours we had it set up. I thought that was excellent. I was very pleased. I'm going to use them again. I'm going to get some other things done so they'll be here.
