They drilled some holes and fixed a leak. The tenant was very happy. There was very little time between when I purchased the deal and when they could come out.

He has done an excellent job.

It was a great use of time. It was very helpful to get these items taken care of. He was very pleasant. He was on time. He did both of them the same day. He also helped with my sister's property as well as mine.

.Mike, who did the work was a pleasure to work with.  He was on time and efficient.  He even picked up the doors from Home Depot. The job took 1 1/2 days due to having to replace all the trim (which he also picked up).  He was very knowledgeable and gave us answers to all our questions regarding painting the trim and various other things we asked.  The new doors look great and we have been getting a lot of compliments on them.  Thank you, Mike.

We were looking to replace the shower in our master bathroom that was about 20 years old.  The unit that we removed was a 4 piece prefab.  First, Don from Reliable Handyman came out to discuss the project and our options.  We had been considering another prefab shower.  Don showed us that the installer that put in the 4 piece unit made it fit in the space when in reality it was too big.  Based on the pricing it made sense to bear out the walls and fill the space we have; not try to make another unit fit.  The ballpark price we were given was better then the others we had gotten so we moved to the next step, which was a meeting with Don and Joe, the owner.  The difference in total price between another prefab unit and tiling from scratch was insignificant.  We discussed the project in a little more detail and set a start date.

The first day of the job Joe and Tommy showed up a little early to begin.  Every morning of the 4 days they arrived promptly and all went well.  They took care to cover the carpeting on the staircase and used drop clothes on the bedroom floor.  Basically they tiled the entire shower area from floor to ceiling and installed a rain shower, shower head.  The shower door needed to be picked up from Home Depot and they took care of this as well.  One of the contractors we spoke with told me they do not install frameless shower doors, but it was no problem for these guys.

All in all, the finished shower is magnificent.  I would recommend Reliable Handyman and plan on using them again when the need arises.

Let me just say that a business that gets ANGRY with you when you question the invoice should not be trusted.

Also, anyone with poor service from this company should submit a complaint to the BBB. Posting feedback here is fine, but the BBB should be informed of their practices.

COSTOMER'S REPONSE TO COMPANY'S RESPONSE - 4/18/2014 - You are WELL aware of the issues I have with the bill.  I gave you more than enough time to respond to my requests before I took this online.  Despite that, you have not returned my calls, responded to my emails and have failed to provide a complete explanation of the bill.

An estimate is just that, an ESTIMATE.  Under no circumstances should anyone pay for charges that the company cannot provide proof for.  You have failed to produce a copy of the receipt for the amount you are charging me for "materials" on my final bill, and your only argument is that you can't get the receipt from the contractor---That is not MY problem.  In fact, the owner (Joe) told me during a phone conversation on the afternoon of 4/4 that it is your POLICY to PROVIDE receipts.  For some reason I have had to ASK for them, and I still have not received proof. 

I do not and have never had a problem paying for what work was done, but I will not blindly pay for ANYTHING.

Quotes from your office manager (Melissa) during a phone conversation on 4/14 (when I called and someone finally answered)
* "I am only the office manager.  I don't deal with billing issues."  (Me: Well who do I talk to when no one will get back to me via email or phone?) "To be honest Colleen, he doesn't want want to deal you with."
* "You're only one in one hundred people who ever question our bill"
* "The contractor used his personal credit card and we can't get the receipt"
* "Why did you use us anyway when there are so many other handymen out there?"
* "We'll just refute your claims on Angie's List like we always do"  (Then she hung up on me)

I'm sure the BBB will find fault with your company. You may have been in business for 11 years, but someone will be looking at your books to see how legitimate your operation has been.

Very efficient and quality work was done.

It was a smooth process - very responsive in arranging the appointment. He was punctual and professional. Very happy with the end result.

Great communications! The original date of service was to be the morning after a snow storm. I was contacted right away and we arranged for the work to be done at a mutually convenient day and time. Eric and Tom arrived on time. Eric was knowledgeable and friendly. The electricity was turned off prior to starting work. He efficiently installed the fan with the assistance of Tom. The switch was changed swiftly. The outlet that needed changing was old and needed work on the wires which was accomplished with safety in mind. The power was turned on again. They checked all of their work to ensure each was working properly prior to leaving. They were neat and placed all trash in the box that the fan came in. I recommend them highly. In fact, I am going to call and ask for an estimate of other work that I need to have done.

The serviceman was very pleasant. They sent him out with a ladder that didn’t have the proper protection on the top of it. He wasn’t very well equipped. I had them stay for an additional 3 hours to finish trimming the trees. The scheduling was good and I had no problems. They cleaned up everything that they needed to get.

The service guy was very pleasant and polite.  He fixed other few small things but I wasn't looking at but I was satisfied with the overall visit.  The service was pretty good...it didn't stay fixed.

He was not that great. He did not get it resolved. I ended up having to have everything redone. It was not his fault. This is an old house and it needed the door replaced. I had him fix a little plumbing problem. He did some other things. He did try, it was just a bad idea and he was very professional. He did do a good job. I will call him back for other things. It was a good price for what he did.

The electrician and plumber both did a good job.  Where other plumbing companies wanted to charge $400-$500 to install dishwasher these guys did it for $120...and it only took an hour.  My only negative thing to say is when they hired an electrical estimator to review projects the guy came out and I really think had no idea what we was talking about which probably hurt the business.  I wanted some exterior lighting and he said it would be near impossible to do given our house, box location etc.  He also said our electrical box was way overloaded.  Since that time (and for other projects) I have had other electricians and even an electrical inspector out and they did not see any issues with you set up or putting lights outside.  Again, the actual guys who did the work were good, the estimator not so much.

It went great!  He was on time and professional.  He finished the jobs perfectly.

Bill did a great job!  He hung approx. 10 pictures.  Perfect measurements on plaster walls, a few pics were huge!
