Appliance Repair
I purchased a new washer from Sears. Unfortunately, the installers connected the water hoses incorrectly and the hoses came off the washer, spilling water all over my laundry room. Sears sent a service person to my home who determined that the washer could not be fixed, since the water hose connection threads at the washer had been stripped. Service person said the washer would have to be replaced. My husband contacted Sears customer service. They were polite, responsive to the problem and arranged to have a new washer sent in less than 48 hours. Sears corrected the problem without a beat and without argument. By the way, Sears gave us a claim number and is having one of their claim adjusters come to my home to assess any possible damage to my laundry room floor.
