Mike's Handyman Service

He did come out initially and fixed my toilet and I told him I had some other things I needed done and that I would call him once I got the materials and everything ready to go.  I have called him and have never heard back from him again.

I woke up today with what seemed to be a smoke alarm ringing in my basement. I tried changing the battery but it didn't help. Since I have been ill with Vertigo it was difficult for me to look up to find any further issue. I contacting this service provider. He came within an hour and disabled the alarm but the ringing continued. He then located a basement drying system that had an alarm on the sump pump. That was actually the alarm that was ringing and not the smoke alarm. He took it apart, tested the battery and determined that it was low in voltage. He put everything back and showed me what to do for such a problem. He even kindly carried my step stool upstairs because he knew I had been ill all week.
His price was more than reasonable and I was very pleased with his professionalism, punctuality, and determination to find the problem. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use his services in the future.
After reading other reviews of this company I would like to add that I had never heard of him before and only went with his service because of finding him on Angies List.

I called him to get a price for electrical and to build a shelf. He came out and did a free estimate. I liked the price so I gave him the job.

Researched and found that of the 2 reviews, one never even had her call returned and the only good review was from a relative.I chose not to hire based solely on a relative's review.

See above. Your questionnaire leaves a lot to be desired when there is really nothing to tell. I don't know for sure what date I called Mike's Handyman Service.
