I use this hospital because they have numerous vets and thus are available any time of the day or night for emergencies. This gives us lots of peace of mind. Other vets mostly send emergencies to Watsontown after hours - too far away when time counts.
They are good vets, but sometimes not proactive enough. They tend to drag out treatment too long and want too many follow-up visits and WAY overpriced. They are not very punctual. I am often left waiting for them to first come in and then come back.
The staff is great. I don't think there is a better service in the area.

They provide many more services for many different animals. They're really good to your animals. I have amphibians, a purebred cat, and I also have dogs. So I needed specialized veterinary care. They're very specialized. Their prices are more reasonable than the veterinarian I had used before, who was very small. The prices are good, too. They're very caring and they treat your animals like they're your family. They're very professional. They're very punctual. They're very responsive. They don't try to fluff you off when you ask as many questions as you want. They answer your questions in detail.

Dr Beers went above and beyond anything we could have expected or hoped for in treating Charlie. She saved his life and was as concerned about me as she was about the dog. A most sweet, dedicated and caring veterinarian. It would be a definite asset if more human doctors were as competent, caring and determined to help their patient as Dr Beers----and the entire staff at Loyalsock Animal Hospital is. The technicians are also wonderful and treat the animals as if they were their own.If need be, I think I would travel 100 miles to have any animal cared for at this office.

Each visit was a pleasure and great care for each of our dogs. Doctor Knoble was gentle and quick on each visit.

I have only had wonderful service at Loyalsock Animal Hospital(LAH). There have been serveral times where I have utilized their emergency on-call service. The vets and vet techs are wonderful and really love the animals. When Bear had his ruptured disc, we contacted on-call and had a call back in five minutes (at 10:00 at night). Ten minutes later he met us at office and ran us through everything that was going to happen. He stayed with Bear all night and called us first thing the next morning with treatment options. He selected surgery and took him to Cornell. Bear needed regular follow-up care that LAH was able to provide. All in all, my experience has been great with LAH. I must admit that their charges are a little high and they do error on the side of caution when it comes to testing. I prefer that they do as I treat my dogs like they are my little children. I don't think I would even take my dogs to any other vet.

Not well. Jack eventually passed and we found the best vets in the world at "Wolf Run" on the road to Hughesville. They are absolutely the most caring loving people. Thanks Dr. Jen.
