Initial service in October 2012 was good. Vince showed up when he said he would.  He said he would guarantee his work.  He gave an estimate based on erecting scaffolding to perform the repair.  When the work was performed, no scaffolding was used.  The price however, stayed the same.  I paid the bill anyway.
Fastforward to June, 2013.  The roof leaked.  I called Vince and he returned my call but never came out to do the repair.  Kept calling for a month, then hired someone else.  The ratings above reflect the follow-up warranty call, not the original service.  Had he quickly followed up on the warranty (which took the other contractor only half an hour) the rating would be B+.

I had to replace the roof because of an insurance company policy. After hiring a different company who did a terrible job, which i fired when they were only halfway done, I hired JRV to finish the job. JRV required no money until the job was finished. They performed excellent work, they were honest, efficient, and friendly. James R Veredekal Sr. the father, owns the company and the son Vincent is the foreman. They have many years of experience and were recommended by a neighbor. They did everything I asked, left a clean jobsite and even removed some junk I had piled in the back! Their price was on the higher side but their work looks beautiful on that side of the roof, especially compared to the other side. They also installed gutters for me. They were known by the Wilkes-Barre city inspectors for having good work as well. I would recommend them without hesitation.
