The salespeople were professional and knowledgeable. The carpet we chose was on sale so the prices were very good.  We had just purchased the home so we were on a frantic schedule to get the work done, and  Giant was very accommodating. The installers were  prompt and did a good job.  Overall I was pleased with the service and product, and I would use Giant again.

Alice Gilmore was our sales person.  Ask for her when you go it, she is wonderful!  The Wilkes-Barre location has a lot of remnants that the Hazleton location did not offer.  Ended up finding a remnant large enough for our 12 ft x 8.6 ft size right away.  Alice gave us an additional $50 off even though we did have their coupon with us.  Did not even have to ask.  The rug was ready for pickup within a week. Very well done. Couldn't be more pleased with the product.

The sales woman was wonderful.  Wish I could remember her name. She let us look through the remnant room, told us new remnants come in all the time.  As it was we came back three times before we found what we wanted.  Once we picked it out the rug was surged and ready for pickup within a week.  Very fast turn around and done very professionally. Looks like a high end rug and we only paid a fraction for a custom size 10 ft. x 11.6  ft. rug.

Initially I went to the showroom to pick out the carpeting that I wanted. I spoke with the owner and explained that I wanted carpeting that would stand up to daily foot traffic. He showed me some samples stating that they were inexpensive but would be acceptable for an office. I made an initial down payment of half the cost of the job which would include installation. After installation occurred I made the final payment.
When we moved in to the building I noticed that a large section of the carpeting (6' x 10') was fraying at a seam. I also noticed that the seams at some of the doorways were also fraying and another section of a hallway had a seam that was fraying. I called the company.
On 1/3/2011 ? Billie from Giant called to come over to see the carpeting. Came to the building and said that it was not done correctly but that Mark (the owner) would make good on it. He also said that they would have to order more carpeting.
1/10/2011 ? I called Mark (owner) to see what the status was on the carpeting. He said that they got the materials and will have Billie get in touch with me to make arrangements to repair the carpeting.
1/14/2011 ? Billie called; stated that he would come out on Monday (1/17/2011) to install the carpeting.
1/19/2011 ? Mark (Owner) came to the building with Billie & another worker to see the carpeting. Billie will be returning to repair the carpeting on Friday (Jan. 21/2011)
1/21/2011 ? Billie called me to let me know that the new carpeting did not match the old carpeting (different dye lot). He told me not to accept it as it is. He also stated that he would tell Mark and that I would be contacted as to how they can repair this area (Billie suggested linoleum).
1/21/2011 ? I returned to the building after everyone left. The new carpeting did not match the old, it was pieced together in 3 places. Looked terrible.
Tried to get satisfaction for the terrible work but to this day I have a large patch of carpeting that does not match the rest of the carpeting. I also have carpeting that is frayed at seams.

When completed there were obvious flaws outside the bathroom door. The installers confirmed this. The company was notified, but to date there has been no response. At present time, current carpeting is completely falling apart.  I will continue to pursue this matter.
