Bob was professional from start to finish. I needed a new bow window, as the one in my house was about 40 years old and didn't open. Bob came over and explained all the options with the window, and was surprising less that window world! The day of the installation was smooth, the team showed up right on time, and actually finished quicker than I expected. They also touched up the wall paint where the molding was narrower than the old molding. We love our new window! Definitely recommend.

The service was excellent. They got out here very quickly and were able to get the job done in 2 days. Everything looks great, and they accomplished what I wanted them to. They are very nice people to work with, and I would recommend them. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Once again, Belles Construction did an excellent job improving our home.  Our old bathroom shower stall was cracked and leaking.  They removed the old shower stall, replaced damaged flooring underneath it and installed a new, high quality shower unit.  New moisture resistant drywall was also installed.  We are so pleased with the result.  The crew was efficient and professional.  We will definitely hire them again.

We are extremely pleased!  Bob responded to my request on Angie's List promptly.  He arranged a timely meeting to come to our home and assess the job.  He provided a detailed, written estimate right away.  The work was scheduled even sooner than we had expected.  The crew members were skillful and professional.  The materials used were very high quality and we are thrilled with the transferrable lifetime warranty of the window.  The team worked efficiently and the job came right in at the price Bob quoted.  We will definitely hire Belles Construction again.

They are extremely fast but still do professional work. They showed up when they said they would. They didn't skip from  one job site  to the next like some contractors. Cleaned up as they worked.  It has been almost 2 years  and no problems at all.. still looks like new.

We don't write reviews but this case warrants an exception. We chose Belles Construction because of their untarnished reputation for excellence.  Our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. Our last project was completed in less than two days  The quality was impeccable.  Price was very reasonable.  Clean-up was amazing.  You would not be able to tell they were there when the work was finished.
Bob Belles uses his own staff of highly skilled employees rather than consigning work to subcontractors.   There were no hidden extras.  The company  has received a number of awards based on their quality.  They were featured  on the cover of the National CertainTeed Siding Product Catalog and were included multiple times in Qualified Remodeler and Remodeler Magazine.   They have numerous advanced certifications including the CertainTeed 5 Star Siding Award and the Select Shingle Master certificate. They are skilled in all phases of construction.
We will be using them for several additional remodeling projects in 2015.  Bob is a "hands on" contractor and makes sure that you're satisfied with his work.    He came to our home three times to help us with our plans, to explain in detail what his team would be doing and the materials they would be using.  We were given an item-by- item proposal broken down by cost per item.  You can be confident that your project is in good hands.  We highly recommend them.

Bobby Belles was extremely professional.  He outlined exactly what needed to be done and what did not need to be done and how much it would cost.  He was very faithful following up and very patient since we had to wait for our other contractor to put some vents into the roof before we could have him start.  Bobby showed up on time, his guys worked efficiently and we had no issues.  They were done when they said they would be done and he even gave us a good lead on some furnace companies.  Their work is high quality and I have never heard a complaint against them.  Their price was fair and slightly higher that another estimate, but we decided that their reputation and experience made them a safer bet and I am very glad that we did because remodeling our home has been one problem after another with other contractors.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The entire job took 3 days. Needed new plywood on one side and in front. Cricket was built by chimney to divert water. New chimney cap was constructed. My new roof can now breathe. Crew was professional and friendly. Clean up was done daily. The management listened to me and the employees worked together.

Bob scheduled an appointment to review the project and provide an estimate. He was on time for the appointment and covered ever detail of the project.  He sent the estimate within two days and we contracted immediately. We were placed on the schedule and about four weeks after signing the contract, we were contacted by Bob that his crews would be starting that Friday at 7:30. His crew arrived promptly at  7:30. They assessed the project and went right to work. They performed in a professional manner  and meticulously cleaned up at the end of each day. We were completely satisfied with the project and would recommend Belles Construction for any project.

I cannot say enough about Belles Construction. They were on time, very meticulous, helpful with suggestions and friendly. The quality of work is outstanding. I love the new look of my home. The price was the highest of all the quotes I received, but what they did for the money was of tremendous value. I would highly recommend Belles Construction.

Bob Belles, his brother Mark, and their crew have many repeat customers and we are one of them. We were extremely pleased with the job they did re-roofing our house in June, 2012 (see Angie's list roofing review, Wilkes-Barre. Pa.)  We had every confidence that we would be just as pleased with their work this time and we were not disappointed.
The crew, John, Jim and Rob, were an extremely personable group of men. Their work ethic and workmanship are outstanding. They worked on our home as if it were their own, taking time and care, attending to every detail. They are true professionals when it comes to sheet rocking, spackling, taping, painting and general carpentry. They did a great job installing the hardwood floors, as well. John even took the time to carve out several pieces of flooring to frame the contour of our field stone fireplace. Not an easy job, but one that gave it a nicely finished look.
Mark did an amazing job staining the stair risers and  treads to match the new flooring. We couldn't be more pleased with our new stairs. John kept us informed of each step in the process, asking for our input on appropriate occasions and making helpful suggestions. They were on time each morning, and at the end of each day, they vacuumed the floors and placed their tools to the side so they were not in the way. We couldn't have been more pleased with the entire project from beginning to end. If you want to have total confidence that the work you're requesting will be done to your complete satisfaction, you couldn't do better than Bob Belles and his men. An amazing job and an amazing transformation! Should we need any work done in the future, we won't hesitate to hire them again.

I can't say enough about Belles Construction Company. He was very good and very consciences. In fact, when they got done with our house, we had people coming from all over to look at how the house was done. They put shutters on, it looked like a brand new house. He really did it beautifully. He was just a really nice guy and a good business man. We found out about him when we went to one of the home builders shows.

It’s with the utmost confidence that we can recommend Belles Construction Company, Inc. of Wilkes Barre, PA. We had an existing roof that needed to be replaced. Mr. Robert Belles came out to inspect our roof and to discuss the replacement. He is extremely personable and compared with two other quotes, the price he quoted was very fair. He said they never re-roof over existing shingles, always taking off the old ones so that they can inspect the roof first. He has a team of 6 highly skilled men who have worked together for years, a testament to the strength of the company. They are a great team of men, all working with a precision that is amazing to watch. In redoing the roof, they completely stripped one side and re-roofed it before going on to the other side. At no time was our roof left with a tarp over it to cover an exposed roof. They came between 7:15 AM and 7:30 AM each day so that they could have time to set up the scaffolding and prepare for work. Aside from a lunch break, they worked steadily the entire day. Our roof was done in two days. Both days they did a thorough clean-up job, too. At the end of the cleanup, they used a large magnet to sweep both sides of the house, especially the driveway, so that no nails were left. The inspector came out to check on their work the first day. He told Bob there was no need for him to return the next day. Bob and his crew were doing work above what other roofers do and that he was completely satisfied. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our re-roofing experience. Don’t hesitate to call Bob for a quote.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They did a beautiful job.   I spoke with Bob to get an estimate.  He showed up on the day and time promised, brought all the paperwork, and color photos of product they provided so I could choose from several different colors.  I also called another company who shall remain nameless for an estimate, they never showed.  I called the second time, he took the address information.  HE WAS LATE, he couldn't find the house, there were 2 address signs in the yard, he still couldn't find the house.  He finally showed up, wrote down what I needed done, never provided paperwork of any tile colors his company carried.  His estimate may have been $90.00 less than Belles, but I was dissatisfied with his unprofessionalism.  Our home is covered with trees, and there were areas of the roof that were rotting due to the trees which worried me.  I contacted Bob at Belles on June 14th that they could do the roof, Bob informed me on June 15th that his men would be out to work on the roof on June 18th at 7:30 a.m..  I figured give or take a few minutes, NOPE I was wrong, they were here 7:30 on the dot, and finished the following day.  These guys worked, there wasn't any lounging around, nothing like that, they worked, and they did a beautiful job.  They also cleaned up after themselves.

I liked them.  They were very nice.  They cleaned up at the end of every day.  They were very nice to talk to.  One day, they worked in the drizzle.  They were here at 9.30 every morning.

This is the first time I have used them.  They did quality work.  They got the job done quickly and efficiently.  They were easy to deal with.  There were no surprises; they were an ethical company.  They cleaned up after themselves.
