Whitehall Door

Everything was good. Good service, good merchandise. They were all very positive. The responsiveness, communication was excellent. I can't say anything bad about them. Very good work. These are overhead doors that come down automatically. The material was excellent and so forth. Professionalism, quality of merchandise and they did what they said they were going to do.

I spoke with someone from Whitehall Door at the Home Show about my rotten and aging garage door, not to mention my opener that may have been the first one ever made. They followed up with a phone call and an estimate. They helped me figure out what I needed, ordered and installed it in approximately 3 weeks time. Every person I spoke with was knowledgeable and helpful. It turned out I needed a small amount of extra lumber and was charged $40. When I came home I saw they had nearly rebuilt the opening of my garage for a mere $40! I can't comment on the actual service people as I never saw them, just provided access to my garage through an exterior door, but installation was complete by the time I came home from work and the new door was the only evidence they had ever been here. Not one piece of scrap or trash was left behind. I would definitely call on them again!

We went to Whitehall Door in PA last November and talked to Steve regarding our needs. We wanted two new insulated doors to replace our aging bare steel doors and hardware. Steve showed us the Clopay brand of door and explained the differences regarding door thickness and insulation options. We also decided to replace our old Liftmaster openers with new units. A price was worked up and agreed upon that day. Within a week, Steve stopped by to measure for the doors and to make sure that the install would go smoothly based upon the door framing, workspace, etc.

Ordering the doors took about 4 weeks from Clopay, and in early January, Doug came out and installed our new doors. It was very cold that day, and Doug worked non-stop. Quite a big job for one man, but he got it all done, including helping to program the opener buttons in our vehicles.

A job well done, everything was installed correctly and there have been no problems. Would definitely recommend.

Workers were skilled and respected the property. From start to finish every step was professionally handle. I would use them again.

I had this work done two and a half years ago but called them back recently to have a keypad installed. They were very honest and tried to save me money by informing me that it would be cheaper if I stopped by and got the keypad from them and installed it rather then them coming out which would cost me a lot more. I would definitely use them again!

I called for an appointment and we were set up for service within a couple of days. The service man showed up this morning right on time. He replaced one of the remote controls mounted on the outside of the garage, mounted the other remote control back onto the outside of the garage, checked out the remotes used in the car and got them functioning, rewired an interior control button in garage, installed vinyl shields on the exterior doors to prevent snow from coming into the garage, lubricated the roller mechanism, changed the light bulbs, reset the positioning of one of the doors so that it raised higher, and suggested we might want another control so we could open the garage doors from inside the house-- what a way to save time on a cold or wet day. Doug was the serviceman and he did a great job and was great to work with.

Whitehall Door was very professional and priced fairly. Everything was done according to plan and there were no surprises. They replaced and existing garage door with a new one and provided new remote control openers. Very pleased with their work and will gladly use them again.

They were very nice. They came out and did an estimate. I paid what the estimate was and got exactly what I wanted. They put it in within a day. They were very neat about it. I liked everything about them. I paid $2500 for a double door, a keypad to put a code and an extra button on the inside to open the garage doors. I have two garage openers. I am very pleased with them. The price was fair as I have seen other places. They were just great.

I dealt with Bucky over the phone who explained our options and helped us to choose the proper units. A week later Jim installed the units. Jim worked quickly and was focused despite several other tradesmen working in the house and major earth moving being done by our landscaper at the same time. Jim explained the programing and operation of the system very thoroughly. We are pleased with the system.

Office receptionist was friendly, she got me an appt. the same day. Service person, Rick, was prompt and professional. He explained h is plan to fix the garage door, and offered to assess for other possible problems. He was done in under 30 minutes.

They were extremely prompt. They were reasonably priced. They set up the time to come. Then they literally called me back later that day. They said that they had a service man out here that I wanted them to come that day. They came that day. They were courteous and professional. They identified themselves and they had a truck with their name on it. Their response was very quick.

It went exceptionally well. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

After comparing the estimates, we went with Whitehall Door because we would be getting doors with the highest insulation (R rating), for the same price as doors with a medium insulation from other companies. Whitehall Door was very prompt and professional, and the workmanship was excellent.
We also needed the framing around the doors to be reframed. Whitehall Door explained that while they would and could do the work, it is not something they typically do and it would save us money to have a contractor do the work. I really appreciated the honesty, and that is what we did, saving ourselves $700.
The new doors are beautiful and open and close with ease. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for garage doors.

He arrived on time and completed the job with the estimated time frame.
His work was neatly done and he was very professional and friendly.
He setup all of the garage door remotes and thoroughly explained how to use all of the features of the new unit.
He removed and disposed of the old garage door opener parts.

Staff in office very helpful educating me about garage door openers and different systems available. Although they sell openers, my husband had decided on a particular type that we purshased elsewhere.
Staff who installed were prompt, personable and professional. I did have 2 questions after they left; they were great about calling me back and answering my questions
My Handyman recommended Whitehall Door, as he had hired them for installation at his home ; now I know why!

Excellent company and very responsive

I called Whitehall Door, they did repair on a previous garage door. They are very responsive. Return calls in a timely manner and try to get work done the same way. They came and repaired the springs on the garage door the next day. It was great!!

I came from vacation last night to find a broken spring on my double garage door. I thought with hurricane Sandy on its way, I had no chance of getting someone out to fix it until after the hurricane. I called Whitehall door this morning, described the issue, he gave me a verbal quote of $200 for a spring on the double door. He told me that he would try to get someone out to me this afternoon, tomorrow at the latest. He came out this afternoon, fixed it for the quoted price, inspected and adjusted my opener. He told me that my nylon gears were wearing in my opener and stated that sometime down the road they may go out as well. He stated that he can fix that if / when they go, just give them a shout. He was very courteous with attention to detail. Great job.

From the time I first called to the end of the job, all of their people were pleasant and professional. I asked them to provide a special garage door. They did so at a reasonable price.
I was happy with the price, happy with the service and happy with the final installation.
