You would think when you spend WELL over $2,000.00 for an item, the company would care? Well, Not La-Z-Boy. Started this terrible process many months ago…the beginning of march to be exact. They said delivery would be a while…I get that, and said around July…maybe June. Well June comes…July comes…no delivery and NO CALL!!!! How about you reach out and keep your customers up to date? So I finally call, and am told “Yeah, no, we don’t know, maybe the beginning of September”. Any more calls or updates…NO. Finally get a text…right, a $2,000.00 text message and I call and find out it is in, and I can pay them the balance (nice of them), and finally get my item Tuesday Morning (Today). So I take off work (expensive, and my one day, moving other plans, because I have been waiting six long months already). Well, today is the day…or is it. NOPE!!!! Message on my phone “some one is sick, we can make it, and we can’t guarantee you a time on our next available day so you will just have to sit and wait around some more!”. Uhm. I get it, COVID-19, supply issues, staff shortages…but come on people. Call your customer, work with them, and try…and I know this is a novel deal in 2021…but try to make them happy and a return customer. So now it will be at least another week, until they have a new excuse…my bet is either the truck broke down, or someone dropped and spilled something on your product, but I honestly don’t see them keeping their end of the bargain at this point. Shame on you as a company, I will NEVER buy from you again, and I would not recommend my worst enemy to make a purchase from you.
