Job went well. Had 6 window headers cut out to put bigger windows in . Had no damage to drywall or siding. Like any contactor if you have any extra work or a change in wood work ask what what's xtra cost. Started work very close to starting date. Some jobs just take longer to get to you. Al & tom work very well together.

Once again, Alan and Tom did a beautiful job for us! Floor tile, and shower walls and floor look gorgeous! They installed a wonderful modern linear drain at our request in the shower floor. Accent tiles were installed in the shower and around the granite counter sink vanity. As always, Alan and Tom made suggestions, asked questions, and did everything they could to make sure we were thoroughly happy with every aspect of the project. This beautiful, modern bath is the best- looking one in our home! Looking forward to having them do our master bathroom in the future.

Working with Alan Green and Tom was an excellent experience. Alan spent a considerable amount of time in working with us and the kitchen designer to ensure that all cabinets were specified properly and that all necessary materials for installation were ordered. Alan kept on his schedule and informed us of his progress and all decisions pertaining to the project. Each day ended with a cleaned work space. Both Tom and Alan were courteous and considerate, prompt, and always pleasant.
Great care was taken in the installation of kitchen cabinets, and all drywall, spackling, and painting were of excellent quality. We were extremely pleased by how quickly and professionally the bamboo floors were installed. The floors are beautiful! Alan coordinated the installation of the granite counter tops with his work, so there were no large gaps of time without work being done. Even though we asked for extras during the project, Alan was flexible and managed to stay close to schedule.
It was never necessary to have anything redone, nor were there any issues with the overall project execution. It is clear Alan Green's goal is to be sure his clients are happy and satisfied with his workmanship.
We have already asked Alan Green Remodeling to complete 2 additional projects.
Thank you, Alan, for a great experience!

I started having water problems ... not too bad at first ... that were addressed by various and quot;contractorsand quot; over the last 2 years. Finally, the amount of storms we had took its toll and something MAJOR had to happen to make the room useable again.
I contacted MANY contractors (a couple actually showed up, which was nice) to get an estimate to repair the problem. My thought was to put a and quot;realand quot; roof on that room and get rid of the skylights altogether. I got a lot of lip service, but no estimates ever arrived in the mail, I had no follow-up calls from the contractors and was left right where I started ... a and quot;water featureand quot; INSIDE my house.
My nephew came home from work one day and told me he works with someone who works for a contractor during the off-season. (My nephew works for a company that is seasonal Fall/Winter). And that's how I came to get in touch with Green Remodeling.
Alan (Green) came over to discuss the problems and look at the room - a lot went on between the first discussion and start of work and I won't bore you with details other than he did everything he could possibly do to stop the indoor rain until the job was actually going to start.
The room was eventually torn down and completely rebuilt. (Details are in and quot;services performedand quot; section). Siding, flashing repairs, silver-coating to 2 parts of my roof, installing shutters ... and a variety of other things were done). They are going to come back to wrap some porch posts in vinyl and do some other vinyl trim work. I kept and quot;adding onand quot; -- and eventually they HAD to move on to their next job.
I'm the type of person who likes QUALITY work. And that is definitely what I got. Everything was done just beautifully. You can tell they take great pride in their workmanship. And something as simple as clean-up at the end of the day is worth mentioning -- I have a 2-year old family member who spends a great deal of time here - a good portion of that spent running around the yard. I had no concerns she was going to step on a nail, get a splinter from random wood laying around ... because there was nothing left behind to be concerned about.
If I had unlimited funds, I'd hire them for a full season and let them gut the house and start over. But as it is, I'll have to settle for hiring them to do one room at a time as finances permit ... which I will definitely be doing.
If you're planning any type of work on your home, it is worth having a conversation with Alan. He is responsive (an unusual trait in contractors), reliable (he'll actually SHOW UP), HONEST, straight-talking and VERY skilled in every aspect of home building/remodeling. And on top of that, he and his staff are just kind, good people. Can't go wrong with that combination.
