AVS Tile & Marble

The actual tile work was ok. Not great. We had to have them come back and retile portions of the kitchen, master bathroom floor and tub surround. They seemed reluctant to do so until the builder of the house stepped in. They charged me an extra $1000 $1 per square foot to lay the kitchen tile on point which WAS NOT A PROBLEM. But they also sharged me $1 a square foot because my tile was larger than 12 X 12. First they said it was because they needed to buy a new saw to cut tile that was 20 X 20. I said that because I would not own the saw when they were done I would not do it. Then they came back and said it was because it was harder and took longer to set larger tile. I said that may be but they are laying only 40% of the amount of tile at 20 X 20 than if it was 12 X 12. I guess they got frustrated and the builder told me to pay the $1000 or else. Because he knew the kitchen had already been designed and purchased, we really didn't have a choice.

They were very friendly, hardworking, and punctual. They completed great work and their price was true to their estimate. I highly recommend them to others.

AVS gave an excellent estimate to repair kitchen tile that had broken loose and replaced windowsill that was cracked,
so I told them to do the work. They gave the estimate in Dec 2012 and because they were busy could not start until Jan 2013,
but that did not matter to me. There was 4 appointments to complete the work, prepare the windowsill area, install the kitchen tile, install a new windowsill, and the final grouting of the tile. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Matt and his team did a fantastic job! The tile was installed beautifully, and we liked it so much that we had more tile installed in another section of the kitchen afterwards. Matt is very responsive to phone calls, arrives on time, and cleans up afterwards. We will definitely use AVS for future jobs.
