The 4 brand new tires were installed on 12/4/14 in the late afternoon. The following morning, the low tire pressure light was on, but none of the tires was flat. After several hours the rear driver tire was completely flat and the car could not be driven. When we took the car back to the provider, he said that the tire was ruined because it had been driven flat. The tire was not driven when flat. The provider took no responsibility for the flat tire. We had to order a new tire ($145 each) and have it installed. The provider was extremely discourteous and would not explain why a brand new tire could be flat less than 24 hours after it was installed. I would not use this provider again or recommend this provider.

I had an oil change done and I did not have any appointment. The manager was very friendly and personable and got me right in. He did an inspection of my vehicle and showed me areas of concern. I was very pleased with the service. I had a fully synthetic oil change.

Excellent, courteous and respectful service. Have always been willing to check over car and suggest solutions without charge. I will return to them for services beyond brakes in the future.

Midas tried to pressure me into getting the work done by saying that if the work wasn't done within 10 days, the car would have to be inspected again.
I took it to an independent garage who said that the brake pads were only 35% worn and the sway bar links were fine. Beware of Midas. They will try to sell you service that doesn't need to be done.

I honestly wouldn't expect such good service from a franchise, but this Midas has been reliable, convenient, and affordable. We have 3 cars: a 1997 Corolla with 170K miles, a 2006 GTO with about 35K miles, and a 2010 Kia Soul with now 25K miles. Costs have always been reasonable, esp with online coupons. The guys there are always friendly, and they mostly have convenient (if not immediate) availability. I'm very pleased so far.

I took my car in for a required state inspection. They told me the car failed because of a bad windshield washer pump and an electrical problem they couldn't figure out -- the brake lights were flashing every second, even when the key was not in the ignition. They failed the car and referred me to an electrical shop, but offered to do the windshield washer repair for $88. I picked the car up to take it to an electrical shop. When I tested it, I found the windshield washer worked fine. I called Midas, and they said the mechanic apparently didn't know how to turn the washer on. Ugh. Almost cost me $88. Then, about 30 seconds of research on the internet uncovered the "electrical problem". It was the security system (which we didn't even realize it had) flashing. Again, almost cost me a lot of money. Question -- if I can find this information in 30 seconds, why couldn't Midas? Did they even attempt to find out what was going on? When I returned to get my inspection sticker, they told me I had to bring the car in so they could take the wheels off, because the mechanic didn't record the brake specifications and they couldn't pass the car. Eventually, after a bit of arguing, I convinced them the car had passed already and I wanted, and deserved, my sticker. This place used to be good, but the people I trusted have apparently left. I'll never go back again. I think the ability to figure out how to use the windshield washer is a pretty basic skill a car repair shop should have.
