My experience with this company could not have been better. They responded to my initial call and promptly provided me with a quote. The workers showed up on time and very professional, clean and polite. The work product was neat and clean. In fact, after they walked out of the door, it was hard to tell that they had done anything at all since they tucked the pipework behind my washing machine where it was totally out of the way. After installation, the radon level did drop to an acceptable level. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. An over all great experience.

After closing on our new house we wanted to install a radon mitigation system because the inspection revealed that the levels were a bit high. I phoned around to a few different companies in the area and ultimately ended up finding Airtech at the top of the ratings on Angie's List. I gave them a call, left a message, and they called me back within a couple of hours. I explained the situation and Sandy looked up some information on my newly acquired property and gave me a price right then. I asked her about a timeline and informed her I had seen a coupon on Angie's List for $50 off of an installation. She said they honored those and told me the availability that they had for coming out to do the necessary work on my house. Within a week her husband, Brian, had been to my home and installed the mitigation system. I was worried about aesthetics because of them needing to drill some holes in the structure and of course large PVC pipes aren't particularly flattering. Sandy had told me on the phone that when there are options (sometimes there aren't many, depending on the house) that they will always present them and comply without issue. Indeed that was the case as my wife and our 6 month old were left to deal with Brian in person on the day of the service and there was hardly any need for interaction. Brian and his workers were very fast and efficient. There was no mess to clean up and the system has been keeping the radon levels well below the EPA recommended amount. The cost was precisely what I was told it would be and even after they received my money I was somewhat surprised when Sandy replied to an email from me within just a few hours. I had a question about the system and she told me exactly what I wanted to know. This is very refreshing in a time where it seems like if money isn't involved you have trouble maintaining attention from providers. I would highly recommend Airtech to anyone in need of a radon mitigation system. They do exactly what they need to for the precise dollar amount they quote.

This went very well. When I became aware that I would have a 2 story tall white pipe running up the side of my house, Airtech suggested that they not install the pipe until they came back to pick up the test kits, so that I could paint it. I took them up on that, and now have a stack the same color as my house right beside my downspout, which is also the same color as my house. The stack is barely noticeable. That is the extra touch that makes me recommend a service provider to my family, friends and neighbors.

Arrived on time very professional and courteous service would happily use them again. Install of the fan and piping through the house and up to the roof very clean and blends in with house nicely

Brian and Mario showed up on time and immediately got to work. They were quick, efficient, and concerned with minimizing dust. They picked a good spot for the PVC pipes near the furnace and out of our way. They safely installed the vent pipe up the side of the house away from windows all the way to the roof line. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have a system installed. After they were finished, Brian went over the system with me, explained about the post installation test and explained he would be back to pick up the results. He also explained the vacuum level gauge and discussed maintenance, future tests, and the warranty. They were so easy to work with from scheduling through installation.

Everything from the scheduling to the actual work was professional. This is a great company to deal with. Brian was on time and got right to work on the project. He picked out the area in which to put the pipe in so that both of our different concrete slabs would be accessed by the system. He explained everything to us, answered our questions, and even part way through showed us what they were doing and explained how it would all work. He was meticulous and very thorough. Even cleaned up everything after ward. We were very apprehensive about doing this project and Brian made the whole process as easy as possible. I also want to say that Sandy, Brian's wife that handles the calls and schedules for him is just as professional. Very nice and knowledgeable people to deal with.

It all went very well. We started with a high radon reading of 14.2 pCi/L in our unfinished basement; AirTech installed their mitigation equipment, we re-tested, and the levels dropped to 8.8 pCi/L -- lower, but still too high. When I notified Brian and Sandy of this, they made another appointment to come out and install a second pipe into our foundation -- they did this very cleanly and were able to accommodate our future finishing plans (so their second pipe wouldn't be in a bad spot). After another round of long-term testing, the radon levels in the basement dropped to 2.5 pCi/L. (For reference, the maximum EPA action level is 4 pCi/L -- if yours are above this, then you need to do something). We were very happy with how AirTech conducted themselves with regard to our problem: they always answered our questions very promptly (whether by email or phone), Brian always showed up at the time we agreed upon, and they stuck with their original contract, which stated that they would get our radon readings down to acceptable levels for the same price we were quoted, no matter how many times they needed to come back. I hope to never have to use them again (!), but I certainly would recommend their services to everyone who needs them. They're good people, and they do good work.

We bought our new house 2 month ago, the radon level were checked as 2.7. But when I tested again and found that the radon levels were much higher up to 5.6. I called Airtech and got a quote over the phone. They called the day before to confirm the appointment and showed up on time and performed the work in about 2hours. At the end of the job they left 2 radon test kits and picked them up next day. 2 days later. They emailed me the results of the test is 1.1 and we are below 1 unit of radon now. Overall I am very satisfied of their professional job.

When we bought our house 4 years ago, the radon level were border-line actionable. With the birth of our son I wanted to test again and found that the radon levels were higher (likely because the sewer line replacement created more cracks in the basement floor). I called Airtech and got a quote over the phone. They also gave me some ideas on how to seal the cracks in the floor. We scheduled the appointment a few weeks down the road. They called the day before to confirm the appointment time. They showed up on time and performed the work in the timeframe that was provided for below the quote price. The only minor complaint is one of the technicians was complaining openly and loudly to my wife that the basement was freezing and he was going to catch a cold. He admittedly is right (our basement is freezing because we don't have a subfloor under the first floor) but I really don't want to hear about it. At the end of the job they left 2 radon test kits and picked them up 2 days later. They picked them up a few hours after the time they said they would be there. They emailed the results of the test and we are below 1 unit of radon. Overall it went very well.

In our home inspection, we found out that our house tested at unsafe radon levels. As we plan to spend a good amount of time in our finished basement, we wanted to address this issue right away. I selected Airtech as our mitigation company. The entire experience was very positive, from contacting the company to make an appointment to the quality of work. They were able to install the radon mitigation system in an out-of-the way spot (in a closet off of our garage), where it doesn't disturb the functionality/look of our finished basement. The space was left in great condition (absolutely no damage to anything in the closet), and the system is functioning as expected. Testing indicates that the radon levels in our home are now safe (actually even below what's considered safe), and we are very satisfied with this company. They're also very responsive via email and very professional overall.

Wonderful! Brian responded to my many emails with courtesy and is very knowledgeable. He was able to run the system inside of an existing laundry chute, because I hoped to avoid a pipe running up the outside of the house. This required a little ingenuity, but he got the job done. The fan is very quiet. He put the fan indicator where it is easy for me to see and explained it very well. The final cost was below the quote.

We are selling our house and were required to get a radon system installed because of elevated levels of radon. The installer was on time, completed the work quickly and was of minimal disruption. I requested estimates from several companies and Airtech had the best price by far. They were also extremely helpful, professional, and efficient. I would definitely use this company again if we need a radon system in our new home.

The person who answered the phone was terrific. She even suggested that before we get radon remediation that get we get a second radon test done and she gave us a website for that. They were punctual, they were polite and professional, the work was very neat and tidy. It was marked and we were shown how to use it and what to look for. The price was as quoted and it seemed to be fair for that work. I would highly recommend them.

Brian actually came out twice - the first time at no charge. We had a somewhat complicated install due to three separate slabs, and it required a fair amount of planning to come up with an exhaust pipe location that wouldn't be an eyesore. We ended up delaying the job until our basement remodeling job was further along, which gave us access to a location not available on his original visit. The radon install ended up taking around 2 hours; minimal mess and disruption. Very clean looking appearance on the fan and pipe. We ended up coming in slightly under the original estimate since our electrician pre-wired a receptacle for the fan.

Everything happened as promised. Technician arrived at the promised time, he was friendly and informative, work was done efficiently, and there were no hidden surprises, even with an old system where trouble could have been 'discovered' as often happens.

I was very pleased with Brian and the work that he did at my house. He was right on time, professional, courteous, and a quick worker. No issues at all and I am very happy with his work.

I was very pleased with Airtech Radon Services, Inc. I called Airtech because I was concerned that our system might not be working properly. Brian was very professional and checked both our outdoor fans and the meters mounted on the pipes in the basement. Brian found that our existing radon system was working properly. He did say that our fans were close to the end of their life expectancies, but they were still working fine. He told me that they would start to make a lot of noise when they were about to fail. I asked him what I owed him for checking out our system, and he said "no charge". Both Sandy and Brian were very pleasant. I will definitely call Airtech when I need service in the future.

My husband and I recently performed an "In-Home 3 Month Radon Test" and found our levels to be "above normal" and "unhealthy" according to the Internet. We decided to have a radon mitigation system immediately installed since the Internet information scared us. We made a call to Airtech and had immediate response. Next, Brian, from Airtech, came to our house to install a radon mitigation system. He was punctual and professional. He seemed to be very knowledgable about the subject and we spoke in great detail above radon levels and installation. In the end, I did not have the radon mitigation system installed because Brian did not feel it was needed (according to our level reading) at the current time. I was also in between jobs, and he told me to wait until I started my new job because it was not dire to install the system right away. I greatly appreciated his honesty and professionalism and I plan to use this company in the future when we have a family. I would recommend this company to others.

The initial call for an estimate was answered promptly by Sandy, the price provided was competitive and the visit was scheduled. Brian showed up at the appointed time, explained what he was going to do, surveyed the area to find the ideal location for the system, professionally installed the piping and fan, cleaned up completely and then explained how the system was supposed to operate. In and out in 2 hours. Overall an excellent job.

Poor Sandy! I had to reschedule maybe 4 times due to changes in closing date, location, etc! She was so patient & Brian was great, too. He had to come back to finish install because of a power outage!
