radon remediation
Description of Work: Airtech quickly responded to my request and they were able to quickly get me on the schedule in a couple of days. They showed up on schedule and quickly completed the work. The radon level went from 4.2 down to .2 after the installation. Good job and would highly recommend.

Description of Work: Installed a radon mitigation fan (we already had passive piping in place) then left a 48 hour test in our basement, which was picked up 2 days later. Average radon level dropped to 3.3 in just 2 days, so that's encouraging... The tech, Bryan, was very professional, and Sandy in their office was very responsive to the bagillion questions I asked through Angie's List over a 2 week period.

Description of Work: Brian installed a radon mitigation system to address the current radon level of our new home which was just slightly above the recommended cut off (6.2). From our first encounter with Sandy who scheduled our appointment to the day of installation, we received nothing but SUPERIOR customer service. On the day of our installation, Brian met with my husband and explained everything about the radon system, including how it would reduce humidity in our home. He was also kind enough to point out a patch of poison ivy which we had not yet discovered. We're both so grateful for this! Airtech is a wonderful company that delivered awesome service!

Description of Work: I could not have asked for a better experience. The technician was so thorough, he actually face timed me with his iPhone to give me ideas of where the vent could be placed in my basement. His work was absolutely perfect and I couldn't be happier. Our radon is now within acceptable limits and the placement is discrete.

Description of Work: Must have been really busy the day they came for estimate. Didn't bother to turn off engine in my driveway. Briefly discussed Radon Mitigation standing in my garage, never even came into my home. Really turned off by whole situation from the receptionist/scheduler to the gent who came to my door.

They were easy to contact, they worked on email or you could leave a voice mail. They were very detailed in their communication on what was going to be done and how it was going to be done. On the radon side, for some reason they did not take credit card. they did a very good job. The people who came were efficient, on time and cleaned up after themselves. It was all good.

Excellent. I used this service at another location and was pleased again.Work is complete and system meets expectations. When finished, the work area was cleaned and it looks like the system was dsigned in from the beginning.

Most customers have this done when they want to sell a property. I want it because I have a ranch style home with a useable finished area downstairs. I performed a Radon test in my home and the results were too high for me .While I have no experience with Radon Mitigation, Pennsylvania DEP suggested 3 companies to call. I called all three. Prices and services were basically the same. Two companies quoted by phone. One company came to my home to estimate. Airtech quoted by phone and was one of two low bids. I chose Airtech because Brian's quote was the same as the other low bid but came with a guarantee to do a radon test at the finish of the job. The others didn't include that option. All services went well I was pleased that his tools included a vac to keep the dust to a minimum. Brian was quick, professional and informative. I am happy with the final job and definitely would recommend his services to others. He does his own work and is diligent and knowledgeable. The radon test was set up the same day, was picked up 3 days later and the results were emailed to me at the end of the day. As an added bonus, my dehumidifier has not run since his equipment was installed. I recommend you do your own Radon test and use Airtech wherever you live. Airtech also offered a discount for paying the same day.
Description of Work: Radon removal entails putting a 6-8 inch hole in your basement floor, venting it out the wall and installing an outside fan. This includes a vent pipe from the fan up to the peak of the roof. After which, another radon test is conducted to verify the system is working. An action level number for Radon is 4. My radon number was 12. Now it is down to 2.
