They have been very good. I have continued with them to this day. They're responsive. They do what they say they're going to do. They're there when they say they're going to be there. They've always followed through. They're on an annual basis. They'll be back in the spring, probably the beginning of April. The service was worth the price. They're no complaints on quality.

I would never recommend Custom Turf as they completely destroyed our lawn. Then came up with excuses every time I asked what was going on. In the end they didn't care that they destroyed it. All they gave us was the refund for our unused pre-payment. They didn't even offer a solution to bring it back to life.
I was treating my lawn by Scott's treatment program (Home Depot bags) but decided to hire a company to save me some time as my life was getting too busy. Before Custom Turf took over my lawn was beautiful. We had a sprinkler system installed dug up the old lawn and added top soil and seeded. In three years it was beautiful. Then we hired Custom Turf from a recommendation of our landscaper. That ended up being a big mistake.
We used Custom Turf for one full season (2012) and only 2 treatments in 2013. I had to remind them and request treatments to be done several times. They were always about a month behind when getting to my lawn. Then they forgot to apply the Lime Treatment until I told them, which end up getting treated in Dec 2012 when the ground was frozen. I should of known then to not renew for the next season but I did. When I had an issue last year about the condition of my lawn, they blamed the drought and said my lawn was getting stressed out due to it, however, I have a sprinkler system. Which I used! I also mentioned the Nutsedge last year, which they didn't spray for when they treated the lawn. It wasn't until I emailed them did someone have to come back out. I have lived here for 9 years and last year was the first year I even got Nutsedge. Which I have again by the way! This year I emailed them a photo of my lawn asking why it looks the worse in the area. I seriously have the worst
lawn in the entire region. I see homes without sprinkler systems that were completely burned out last year are all lush and green due to all the rain. Mine is brown like it never rained. When I emailed them asking about it, this time they blamed there has been too much rain.
If my lawn is getting stressed or has an issue they as the professionals should notify me. They are suppose to be the professional and know these things. My lawn this year has looked terrible since the beginning of May. When their company came back in June they should of said something about it. If their employees applying the treatment doesn't know what the issue is, then they should of told their managers there was an issue. That is when they should of automatically sent someone out to evaluate it. It wasn't until I canceled before offering this to me.
Robert has never responded to my last two emails about why I canceled. Even after he sent a letter asking why. I guess he doesn't care that he destroyed my lawn.
I applied a very light treatment of Scott's Max Green about a two weeks ago and it has started to turn green.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. APPLY THE TREATMENTS YOURSELF IT WILL LOOK BETTER.

Excellent communication about all aspects of the job with Robert and all members of the install staff. The staff were always on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, were polite and knowledgable and could explain and answer all questions. Any concerns I had were immediately addressed to my satisfaction. My neighbors were also very complimentary about the way they minimized inconvenience to them as well as how polite and neat they were. I'm sure I payed a premium price, but I know I got a premium product. Because of how well the install went, and the quality of the staff, I changed all my lawn and tree and shrub services to Custom Turf.

My experience with Custom Turf Lawn and Irrigation Services has been fine. They do a good job. They usually call or send out a reminder card asking if you want them to come out and winterize your system. They are good about scheduling times and they are good about showing up promptly in their 2 hour time window. I never had any problem with them and I would use them again. They do a reasonable job. I would recommend them. Their pricing is reasonable.

The estimate was free. The price was a little more than I expected so I didn't use them. They did get back to me. They were professional but they were too high.

We had some landscaping that needed to be completed first, so we called them back in July about getting set up for regular treatments. We liked the estimate that they had given and were disappointed when they never called us back. They were very professional when evaluating and in the estimate, but we just don't know what happened.

They offer an an annual service which includes a spring turn on and a fall turn off, and that runs between $150-$160. It is a little bit more if you call them per item visit, but, it's cheaper than the annual contract which includes 2 visits. Since I'm in the south hills, it's convenient. I've had them over the past couple of years to expand my lawn irrigation system. It's very reasonable priced, they have very quick service, and have very knowledgeable people that come out. I've had a different company before, but, this one is just like, so great. They're very reasonably priced.. I checked around and talked with the neighbors who have different companies. These people are very reasonably priced, and I'm getting exceptional service at a very reasonable price.

They are everything they say they are. Our sod was only 3 years old and no matter what I did, I was fighting a losing battle. Custom Turf came in and what a difference-----it's back to looking brand new again. Plus, when I did notice some dandelions growing, they came as soon as I called and took care of them. We are very pleased!

Their estimate was close to that of national landscape lighting company which had impressed us with their proposed lighting scheme. We decided to support the local business. Their proposed start date was many weeks later than the other company had proposed, then they took weeks longer to start the job. We told them any day but Wednesday. They came on Wednesday. No one was home, which probably contributed to the problems that came up. Some things were installed in the wrong place. They corrected this after we called days (not months) later, but charged us extra for that. Some lights were poorly planned and poorly installed, and are still like that. We will get someone else to correct them. We don't want to pay this contractor any more, we don't want a hassle, and we don't know if they have the expertise yet to correct the problems.

We have had them out to do many different things for us and they always show up promptly to do the work and are professional and nice to work with. They do a nice job of cleaning up after themselves.
