Me and my family had gone to Penn Animal Hospital for many, many years. Even though they are more expensive, I was always happy with the care our dogs received over the years. |However, this all changed when Dr. Beck (whom we all loved) hired a new |Veternarian (I can't remember her name). She was condescending and at times very rude. But, again, I loved Dr. Beck and the techs and Martha, the receptionist. Unfortunately, when the time came for me to say good bye to my best friend, that uncaring person was the one who was on call. It was a horrifying experience (and very expensive). I have never gone back.

The vet has a lovely personality and great bedside manner. Her tech was great, also -- an older gentleman, and very professional as well as friendly. They have a well-stocked supplies store on site.

We have two dogs we bought off an Amish farmer, they were
fairly current on most shots but still needed quite a few. The Vet was
very helpful and gave me a list of options (some were required and some
were optional). We selected the shots we wanted and the ones we needed
and have to go back for a follow up appt for the boosters. The overall
cost of both visits is include in the cost I listed. I really enjoyed
how attentive the Vet was and how good she was with the dogs. We will be
going back for future visits.

I was so very impressed with the care and follow up by the entire Penn Animal Hospital staff. I am very pleased I selected this practice for my pet. I highly recommend penn animal hospital. There was no wait at all. The staff was warm and kind and answered all of my questions and concerns about my dog. I was not rushed and I even received a follow up email and call to check on my pet after his checkup and shots. The care and follow up was impressive and wonderful!
