"Great response time! Excellent job!" This has been my past review for the many jobs I had done by Charles and his team. Unfortunately following their last visit, I recently discovered a minor problem and sent an email to him explaining the issue. I received a heated call back from Charles accusing me of being unprofessional for not calling him instead of emailing. He would not listen to my explanation and told me he was done. My email was reasonable and explained my position clearly. For these reasons I DO NOT RECOMMEND Charles and his company any longer. It is sad, as we had a multi-year, multi-job relationship, but name calling and accusations were not necessary in this transaction. Please keep this in mind if you are thinking about working with him and for heaven's sake don't dare to email him!

Charles was on time, communicated well & was in & out!

After getting an absurd estimate from another big plumbing company we realized mid commitment that the price was too high. Luckily England Plumbing called me just before committing to the job via Angie’s list inquiry. Charles England was very detailed and assure us that he would be able to diagnose and give us an estimate based on the depth of our well as opposed to a flat rate that the other company was charging. I immediately scheduled them to come out to check out the work. I was impressed with the professionalism and courteousness of all of the workers and they kept us informed of everything they were doing. Even helped us by suggesting that we file a claim due to damages to the well pump from the recent storms and tornados. I felt that this experience was the best we could hope for as we are city folk and never had to deal with a well let alone diagnose an issue. Just knew we didn’t have water and went from there. We kept England Pluming contact Info and will definitely reach out to them for any other plumbing needs we may have in the future! Great Job!

I had gas service brought to my home. Prior to getting the meter, the company required 2 things which I wrote down and contacted a plumber for installation of "a minimum 1 inch steel fuel line through the wall of the home, and a 3-5 lb air test with gauge attached." Thats exactly what I asked Charles England to provide. He assured me that he does this all the time and also "knows all those guys" that put the meters in. I didn't know why that mattered then but ok. This cost me $1000. When he finished I called to have the meter company come to install. They came and lo and behold, there's no gauge attached so they can't do it. I call Charles, he tells me he already tested it himself. The meter company says that's not good enough, we need to see it, "and he knows it." He wanted the technicians number so he could convince him it was fine. This is why he claimed he "knew all these guys." So he could weasel out a partial job. It was not fine, the company obviously has rules. I scheduled with him and the meter company to come back out the next week. The meter company came for the second time, but of course Charles did not show up, and no call. I contact him again. Reschedule again. The day before I tried to confirm he will be there. His text back is "no." Then "So Monday." That's it, 3 words the evening before the appointment. I reschedule with the meter company yet AGAIN, for Monday as he demanded, apologizing profusely. Charles meanwhile...not one apology. Come Monday, never hear from him and never heard from him again. I had to pay someone else to finish the job. This guy is a piece of work. Not only do you drag me, 6 months pregnant, to the property multiple times (I don't live there), but you're making me bring other technicians there over and over with no intention of showing up. This man is a scumbag and he owes me a refund.

They were quick to respond to our issue. They did a good job with explaining the issues and gave us options on how to fix the plumbing. They called to follow up after the work was done as well. We called another company before them that was not responsive at all.

I liked the service quite a bit. There was a distinction on the service once they changed over to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. The small town feel went away when they switched company names.

When I need a plumber, I use England's Plumbing, Heating and Cooling every time. He is an all aound good guy. His service is great and he is always very reliable.

I have used them for 2 years. I use them because they are excellent, they do a great job with working around your schedule, and the prices are competitive. The quality of the work is terrific.

The service was great. They were on the expensive side. He was really nice and polite to work with.

They actually did good work, but it was sneaky the way that they billed me. He charged me for pulling up my old pump as though he had put it back. He also charged me for pulling that one up and sticking in a new pump. His reasoning was that he had to go by his book, but the thing is when you are installing a new pump, you are going to charge your customer the new pump and the labor for that. He charged me the labor for both processes. The water filter was also overpriced.

I found out I was overcharged when I spoke to other plumbers. It turned out that they were twice the price of the other plumbers in the area that could do the same job. I've disputed it with England's, but it didn't work out. I would encourage other customers to get other estimates to compare the prices, do the homework, and get everything in writing and double check. The well pump part we had replaced cost the same as purchasing a new well.

Plumber was given access to the front door to perform the  repairs while client was at work.   upon Client's return, no indication of anyone being in the house.  Repair had been completed without  any indication of anyone being in the home.  Repair was completed, and client was 100% satisfied.

Technician was very prompt and proffessional. He explained what needed to be done and  the cost and gave me the option of accepting this proposal or not. He performed the work in a timely manner. I am pleased with the work.

I had a really negative experience with them. I am only two or three miles away from his business. I had an emergency on a rental property of mine where the main sewer line backed up and was flooding the basement. He came out with pricing that was very high. When you are in an emergency circumstance you say fine go ahead and do it. They cleaned the lines with the wrong tools. It was more designed for a pipe clog in a sink, not a main sewer. They only repaired it by using a 2 inch diameter tool instead of a 4 inch diameter tool. It was dramatically easier for them to do this than use the proper tool. The repair failed in a week and he didn't stand behind his work. The bill said that they had a 30 day workmanship guarantee. I disputed the charge with the credit card company and I had another expert in to explain what they did wrong. He did the job wrong and then lied about what he did. There were ways that we could prove he was lying. I had another company come in to fix the problem when it failed again and they only charged me $200.

They did an excellent job. They were the ones who did all the plumbing works in our house.

Fully satisfied.  My job took two days and Charles himself was onsite doing the work the entire time.

They are good.  They are probably tied up with the heating and cooling company in some way or another.  There is a young man who used to live at the back of my house and that's how I found out about them.  I ended up calling them because I knew him.  Once I had them here, I really liked their service.  I liked their people.  I didn't think they were crazy outrageously priced.  I found them to be reasonable.  I have a service plan that covers it.  Anytime I have had them in my home, it's been excellent.  I am in their service plan and it is $12.95 a month.
