"H.S.A is a Home Warranty Company that contracts us out to perform service to their customers. It is in their contract with Home Owner that any preventative maintenance issue will not be covered; and will be the Homeowners responsibility to pay the entire bill. H.S.A. Also recommends Homeowners to have regular Preventative Maintenance on their systems. If regular maintenance would have been done, Then the servicing technician could have alerted the Homeowner of this potential problem. Our Service Technician did turn Boiler on to Bleed, because it needs to be pumping water to do so. If Air is in the system, it may require several attempts to Bleed. Unfornately, time is money and to stay longer, would have cost her more which she refused. Service technician did Bleed rads that he could get to, showing homeowner how to bleed, if needed. The $128.00 charge was for the 45 minute drive to her home and the one hour he was there. As Far as his comments, he was impressed with, The complexity of the system she had. In his defense no one knows everything about every system out there. He is 62 and planning his retirement with 35 years of H.V.A.C experience. I'm positive his comment was in general conversation and being taken out of context by Homeowner."
