We are having issues with the permit. I am getting passed from permits and contracts within Fence Authority, neither of which have the authority to assist me. No one in management will step up to help me get this matter resolved. It is a paper issue on their part. This has become very difficult and they have not been easy to work with. I need to speak to a decision maker with authority and am unable to get their attention to speak to them.

Not very happy with the fence that was installed. It's bad when after only 6 months my fence started to lean along with just about every post being loose including the ones near the gates that were supposed to be concreted down and weren't. my gates were uneven as well as the fence itself it doesnt seem your quality of workmanship is what you state in your adds and on your website. and all i was told its in the warrenty time period so we will fix it. well that's all great if it was done right in the first place but it never was I didn't have the pros you say you have and I expected more than what I was given which was nothing a big 0 for my trouble not even a small gesture to say you are sorry for the inconvenience of me having to take time off a second time because the fence wasn't done right the first time. I feel in return they should of offered me something possibly back of my cost of the fence. I asked that the owner please contact me but nothing no call. Feel like I was taken advantage of. And since the second time they came to fix what was wrong they created a new problem where my gate that didn't seem to have a problem now does it leans with the wind and leaves a space between the two doors so my dogs can get out because the latch holder in the ground was left not buried properly.

Awesome. The sales rep who came was very helpful, informative, and gave us excellent advice on the choice of materials, the style of fence, and what would be acceptable in our neighborhood association and the township. He advised me to get a permit right away (and had a costly service to do it themselves; I did it myself, it was easy), which I thought was unnecessary but I was wrong - so kudos for him! The scheduling people were very pleasant, prompt, and persistent - all good - and the folks that installed it were professional, prompt, clean and skilled. The fence looks great. We couldn't ask for more, except maybe a cheaper price - but for cheap, you get cheap.

This is going to sound like a commercial so I apologize. I am extremely pleased with the work Fence Authority did. From sales to scheduling and installation the process went smoothly. They called to confirm some fuzzy details on the work order to make sure the fence was what I wanted. I was kept up to date by email for installation. The installers were prompt, knowledgeable and professional. This was done while my crazy neighbor was outside protesting my fence. The fence quality seems very good. I could smell the cedar when the truck pulled in. The installation was even quicker than I expected. So- yes, I would recommend Fence Authority. They are not inexpensive but they are in-line with competitors. The sales person really helped me understand my options and kept my budget in mind. For a product like this, you get what you pay for- I have no regrets.

They were very reliable and very prompt. My dogs were escaping through our fence and I’m actually calling them out to give me counsel to help me figure out how to keep my dogs from going out. They’re very nice. They’re not the kind of people looking for upsells. They really jump out there to meet your needs and do their job.

It apparently took awhile to get the manufacturer to honor the warranty, but the Fence Authority did all the negotiating and in the end everything was replaced even better than new. Can't say enough about the professionalism, workmanship and efficiency of this company.

Met with salesman named Ed who was very knowledgeable of the product we chose and took us thru the process. Installation team led by Kris was awesome! We were so impressed by Kris and his team that we added a second job. They did both jobs above and beyond our expectations. The Fence Authority is lucky to have such devoted workers. Would definitely use these guys again.

The crew that installed the fence were nice but lacked professionalism. He first complained about the small section of brush that needed to be cleared, it wasn't on the paper work. We talked to the salesman about it and he said it was no big deal and no charge. Well the installer said their would be (we weren't charged). The section of fence on the wall, that the sales proposed a nice option for, the installer knew nothing about it and was total confused by what he was suppose to do. The installer complained about salesman not knowing things and promising things to customers that can't be done. Outside of all of that they needed to fix the double gate, as it wasn't even and after a few days the mess was sagging in places and they needed to re- stapled. They did complete the work but it took several phone calls and multiple conversations. Lesson Make sure you get it all written on the contract in complete detail with a diagram.

They did a great job. Everything was good. The only thing was that the price was a little higher than I anticipated. But they did a fantastic job. They were prompt. They came out and the crew was very good, very nice, very polite and very professional. They cleaned up and I had no complaints.

I called them several times to inform them of my disappointed and when
some one finally returned my call, I was told "this is normal"

fence itself is actually beautiful and I am 110% satisfied with the
fence; however, the GATE DOOR to the fence that they installed was and
still today remains my dissatisfaction and with major disappointed.
The GATE DOOR to the fence:
1. IS A TOTAL DIFFERENT TYPE OF MATERIAL
2. IS A TOTAL DIFFERENT COLOR; it looks so much older than the fence itself.
If
you decide to go with this company to install your fence, ask the

Professional from beginning to end. The person who came out to give an estimate was on time and knowledgeable. Once we made a decision, we were give a date and the work began on schedule. It took only two days which was important to us with two dogs in the backyard. The crew was punctual and polite. The crew cleaned up every day. When we inspected the fence after work was completed we found several boards that were cracked due to a defect in the cedar. Not a problem. The company sent someone out the same day and replaced the boards. We highly recommend this company. We will definitely use them again for any future needs in regards to fencing.

Person who answers the phone was nasty and sarcastic on several occasions.
Did not show up when scheduled. Only after the fact did they call to say supplies delayed. Evasive and obnoxious about giving any information about when supplies would arrive. When I asked to speak to the head of the office, I was instead turned over to the scheduler, Sharon, who was especially unhelpful and unpleasant. Same was true for Mike, whatever role he has there. No follow up. Work delayed many weeks.
When they finally showed up to install the new fence, turns out the estimator had measured wrong and none of the new pieces were the right size. Installers had to wait hours til new supplies could be brought from West Chester. Once they were able to install the substitute pieces, they installed several sections wrong (fixed when brought to their attention). Finally, they left some of the fence spokes rough and uneven.
All in all, this has been a horrible experience. I would strongly recommend you not use the Fence Authority, aka, The Fence Guys.
They are incompetent and have no clue as to proper customer service.

This complaint has been registered by a project manager and not the contracted customer. We take all feedback seriously and address all concerns—even when they are overstated and important details are overlooked and unmentioned in reporting. Occasionally, material shortages delay projects. Unfortunately, supply this year for western red cedar is limited and has caused delays. In this case, as in all cases with supply delays, we kept the customer fully informed every step of the way. A company’s reputation is based on perception and while we cannot control what other think of us, we can control our character and uphold our core values. We are confident that neither were compromised with this project. The contracted customer related to this review is a repeat customer and has recently confirmed to us that she is satisfied. The people who did the work were excellent; the actual workers saved me money and did a good job. The person who came out to do the estimate wanted to do this totally ridiculous jig-jog-around thing that totally made no sense. We called their office and left a message for him to call us back and he did not. I called again and he was sitting in the office of the person I called and would not pick up the phone. I was not happy about that. If I ever do fence work again we will not use this particular estimator and they have done fence work for us before. Their price was in the ballpark with everybody else and the quality of the fence was fine.

"On 7/20 the project was completed and customer indicter happens. On 8/17 customer open a care ticket for adjustments to ferg. On 8/22 service dept requested pictures of the area of concern so we will be best prepared upon arrival. On 8/23 2nd request for pictures was made All comms ceased until 9/23 when we scheduled some for 10/3. We accept 100% responsibility for letting this slip through the cracks. That’s the end of it; some words were very hard to decipher, I have highlighted them for you to double check."

I purchased a fence from the Fence Authority and was very pleased with the whole experience. I worked with Lynn, developing a bill of materials. She was personable and professional and made the process a breeze. The materials were delivered on time and placed in a convenient location. I installed the fence with family assistance and it came out looking fantastic. One section had slight damage in corner and they replaced it, no questions asked. Everyone in the neighborhood comments on how great it looks. I would do business with them again without hesitation.
