Ken Register has been my electrician now for several years. From the start, he was on-time and very knowledgeable. He is friendly and makes sure that you understand the work to be done and his pricing is very fair. I highly recommend him as an electrician.

Ken returned my call for an estimate the same day I called. He arrived on time for both the pre inspection and the day of installation. Ken explained the process and included me in on the decision on where to install the equipment which I greatly appreciated. Ken and his helper explained the operation and instructions for the transfer switch and patiently answered my questions. In summary, REG Electric is what you wish every contractor experience would be, professional, honest, and competent.

Ken was wonderful to deal with. He exceeded our expectations with his pricing and service. His work was very thorough and professional....and cleaned up as if he was never there. I highly recommend REG electric!!!!

Ken and Andrew were were great. Their work was excellent and VERY competitively priced. They go the extra mile to install the electrical as efficently as possible...absolutely no and quot;wire fishingand quot; holes despite some really trickly installations. Have referred them to others...will use them for more work over the coming months.

Ken did an excellent job. When he came for the estimate, he actually fixed one of our problems right then and there. He was very reasonable priced and was able to get us on his schedule very quickly. I would definitely use his company again in the future!

Ken was very professional. Came on time, gave accurate estimate, and did a great job with the installations.

Service was outstanding. He came out on a Saturday AM. Diagnosed everything and explained why the problem existed and how he fixed it. He did a great job.

Electrical outlet in ktchen shorted out. Several outlets are on the same circuit breaker so many appliances were unuseable. Was impressed with the reviews for R.E.G. Electric. Called R.E.G. Electric around noon on 10/18 and left a message with description of problem. Ken returned my call at approximately 8:30 pm that evening and said he would stop by the next day to take a look. The next day he called arond 9:30 am and said that he would be at my home in 10 minutes. He arrived, replaced outlet, and was gone in about 20 minutes. Ken is as professional, responsive and as efficient as you could want. I was concerned that it would be difficult to find someone for such a small job but that was not an issue for Ken. His fee was so reasonable. I will recommend R.E.G Electric to my friends and neighbors.

Ken met with us and reviewed all the work we desired to have done. He prepared a detailed estimate that matched the scope of work we agreed to. His pricing was very competitive.He set up a schedule for us and stuck to it. We are very happy with the work done by REG and recommend the company to others.

We were having issue with a heater in the basement constantly causing the fuse to break. Ken came over and did a thorough check of the electrical system and then recommended a couple of options. Both were reasonably priced.He sent us a quote a few days later and we chose the option we wanted. I emailed him and he called to schedule the work. With both our schedules, it was almost a month before I could be home when he could come out. On the morning of the work, Ken was on time and very polite. When there was a question, he explained exactly what the options were and what he recommended. He finished in just a few hours and we are 100% satisfied with the work. He was also very patient with our rather overactive puppy. We will use him again for future projects.

Ken is so great with all our electrical needs, he is quickly becoming our recommendation to friends for the best electrician in the area. His work is speedy and well done, he is so friendly and accommodating, and he is always prompt! And for this situation, he charged us LOWER than his original estimate! Amazing!

We found Ken's name on Angies list and thought he would do a good job. He was absolutely fantastic and would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work. We thought installing a standby generator would be prohibitively expensive so hadn't considered that an option before, but Ken explained some options and capabilities plus the cost of some of the smaller stanby generators and we decided to go that route. It has turned out to be a great decision. The total cost came to $2500, which included $1700 for a 7000 watt standby generator, $300 for our propane co. to hook up the propane and $500 for Ken to do all the electrical connections. While Ken was here we also had him run some extra outlets into our basement so we paid an additional $100 for that. Ken is very professional, very punctual, and a great person to work with. He spent more time here (an extra 2 days due to a faulty transfer switch) than he originally thought, but he didn't raise his estimated price one penny. He did an outstanding job and again, I would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done.

We had discussed some issues with our kitchen lighting with Ken during his prior visit. He made some great suggestions that we actually planned to take to our regular electrician, who was out of town on vacation. Realizing that we needed to get this work done before we painted (upcoming soon), we decided to have Ken do the work. He installed 5 recessed lights in the kitchen area, and hung a pre-purchased pendant lamp over our kitchen table. He even ran out to purchase and install 2 dimmers that we forgot to mention when we scheduled the work. The job was professionally done and he cleaned up well after he finished. Everything works and looks great and we only have some minor patching to do before the painter arrives. Ken did a great job. We would recommend him for any electrical work needed in your home.

We had to dismantle the switch in our bathroom due to an unrelated problem. The company who helped diagnose the problem tore the switch apart, then proceeded to tell us it would take a $150 service call + time and expenses to repair. I called Ken, who showed up, fixed the problem (after telling me that the original wiring was poorly done), and charged a very reasonable fee. We are going to ask Ken to help us redo our kitchen lighting as a result of his quick, thorough, reasonable service.

Great, Ken and his co-worker came in on time, very friendly, was very informative on what needed to be done for all the projects I was asking about and even giving suggestions on better ways to install them (lighting fixtures in kitchen with a drop-down ceiling). After he gave the estimates on the future projects, they both set out to install the ceiling fans in the two rooms. They were quick and efficient, and cleaned up afterwards! The fans work and look beautiful! A couple weeks later, I had some additional questions on one fan, so I gave him a call and he was able to come out to me in 10 minutes and take a look. He answered all my questions and explained everything in understandable terms (I'm no electrician, so it was nice to understand exactly what he was explaining). Very pleased with the customer service and the expert work!

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF READYING MY HOUSE FOR SALE. THE HOME INSPECTOR FOUND SEVERAL AREAS IN WHICH THE ELECTRICAL OUTLETSS/CONNECTIONS, ETC. WERE IN VIOLATION OF EXISTING CODES. KEN CORRECTED ALL THE PROBLEM AREAS AND INSTALLED THE PROPER OUTLETS AND ELECTRIC BOXES WHERE NECESSARY. HE REPLACED LIGHTS IN THE GARAGE, LAUNDRY ROOM AND BASEMENT AND INSTALLED NEW OUTLETS SO THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE UP TO CODE. OVERALL, HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. ALL WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION AND ALL AREAS WERE CLEANED UP BEFORE HE LIFE. ALL BUT TWO SMALL JOBS WERE DONE IN ONE DAY. THE REMAINING WORK WILL BE FINISHED AS SOON AS HE CAN SCHEDULE IT. I ASKED HIM TO DO MORE WORK FOR ME WHICH WILL BE COMPLETED WHEN HE RETURNS TO FINISH UP. ALL IN ALL I AM VERY PLEASED WITH KEN REGESTER'S WORK.

Ken Register and his helper Andrew arrived on the appointed day and at the appointed time. They quickly got their gear organized and went to work. They split the work, when they could, to maximize the work being done in order to get my electric back on as quickly as possible. They replaced the line coming into the house and a new electric meter as well. They removed the old and overcrowded service panel, replaced it with a monster panel so that I or any future owners of this house will have no problem finding breaker space in the panel. The service panel was mounted on the wall and protected from moisture to prevent the wood base from rotting and the metal panel from rusting. They marked all of the major breakers so that I can find the circuits when I need to shut off certain items at the box. He even installed a whole house surge protector as I have had problems in the past with power surges damaging electronic equipment. They took their time hooking everything up and back tracing wires that they were not sure about. He replaced ground wires and added a ground bar for the Phone Company and cable/satellite companies to use in the future. In the end the bill was exactly what he had quoted, no more and no less. But I felt I got much more personalized service than I had anticipated. Ken and Andrew were friendly yet completely professional. They worked the entire time that they were at the house; the only conversations that I heard were related to the job. They came prepared with everything they needed to do the job and had additional equipment to cover the unanticipated. They made sure I was happy with their work and explained everything they had done. I would have them do any of my future electrical work and would recommend them to anyone looking for a top notch electrician.

It is a one-man operation and he was very good to work with and very prompt. The estimate that he gave was exactly what he charged me. He did a great job. He was very nice, very polite and very clean. It was actually a great experience and I will call him back.

Ken Register did an extremely professional job. The quote was fair and his master electrician credentials were evident in his knowledge and efficiency in completing the job; there was no pondering or guessing in how to do particular tasks. If there was a "preference decision" required, Ken laid out the options clearly. In one case, there was a last minute post-bid request, and Ken charged appropriately, not gouged, for the extra work to be done. Cleanliness by Ken and his assistant were a mainstay of the job. Very pleased with Ken's demenor and ease of intelligent communication; Ken and assistant completed all work in 1 3/4 days whereas other contractor bids advised 2-3 days.
