It was a bad job and did a poor job. Poor quality and It wasn't done professionally. I would never recommend them.

The whole process went well: from the cost estimate - to the scheduling of the work to get started - to the job's completion. The company had an excellent follow-up process and high quality of work. I would absolutely recommend them.

Talk about a professional job! The workers were with us nearly a week sanding and finishing the floors, and they were terrific at telling us what to expect, what not to freak out about, how things would progress, etc. Great, personable people who know what they're doing, for sure.
The floors couldn't look better. Just stunning results, and they didnt' have to return for anything -- it was done right the first time.
Our only beef is how slow the company is to return a call. They get around to it, but when you're under a bit of time pressure, two weeks isn't always fast enough. Not that they weren't responsive-- they were. They just weren't consistently on top of getting back to us.
Because the workers were so good at their jobs and were so nice and friendly and because the results were amazing, we'd not hesitate to hire them again. We couldn't be happier.

They were professional. I wouldn't use them again because I don't have any needs but I would use them again if I had a need.

We had contacted Nordic on the recommendation of a co-worker. Jim came out to do an estimate in early July and scheduled the work for a couple of weeks later. He took time to explain the process, the condition of our floor and our options.
We recently purchased a home that had carpeting over their beautiful hardwood. We removed the carpet and all the tacks and nails and trim ourselves. We also had to clean the floor thoroughly. The final two cleanings were with a Squeaky Clean product that Nordic provided for us. We had considered refinishing but Jim told us we could get good results from a screen and poly. This saved us about $750. The other company we had stop by had not suggested this method. The screening itself only takes a couple of hours including time to vacuum the dust. The majority of time is just waiting for the two coats of poly to dry. Jim said they use the water-based stuff exclusively. Oil-based is more forgiving if you're doing it yourself but smells and takes longer to dry.
Results were excellent. The floor was ready to walk on in 3 hours and had very little lingering odor. A couple of weeks later and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

ONE GENTLEMAN CAME ON TIME AND PROCEEDED TO GET TO WORK. HE HAD SOME PROBLEMS GETTING UP THE OLD FLOOR AND I GAVE HIM A HAND, BUT AFTER THAT, HE HAD THE NEW FLOOR INSTALLED IN NO TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB.
