Before we started, we knew we had a problem, but did not know how much of a problem. We had a thorough inspection which showed the extent. With that report, we started looking for a contractor and found Frank. My "learning" was the importance of an initial inspection to know just what we were dealing with. An inspection, particularly by someone who also does remediation, may be a worse case, but at least it is a place to start. It is hard for a non-expert to know what is under that old stucco.
Another lesson, this one suggested by Frank, was to have an independant inspector follow the work as it was being done. We had a professional third party documenting the job as it was being done. The paragraph above was taken from his report. We felt this was important to document for a potential buyer that a quality job was done. However, now that we see the result, the quality is obvious.
We are completely satisfied with Frank's work.
