The inspection seemed to go fine at first. Larry Grove came out and performed a home inspection for a house I was purchasing. He provided me with a list of small issues that needed to be resolved. He also told me that there was a 90 day guarantee on all the items he inspected. After we moved into the house we realized that the dishwasher did not work. We also found out that the HVAC was completely out of refrigerant. I had to buy a new dishwasher and pay an HVAC repair man $1300 to remove all the air and dirt from the system and fill it with refrigerant. I emailed Larry about the 90 day guarantee and asked him to call me. He responded to my email saying he would call me later. He never called so I sent a follow up email since I could not find his number. He responded a few days later saying that neither item was covered. He said the dishwasher was marked as fair rather than satisfactory. I looked at the report and he marked all items like that. The oven was less than 2 years old and he only marked it as fair. He failed to properly inspect the HVAC system and did not even see the service records that indicated there was a potential leak.
