Silvio performed a very professional, excellent job. It's obvious that he takes great pride in his work and it shows in the final result - I would hire Silvio again in a heartbeat!!!

We are two senior citizens and we mentioned we would need help with putting the air conditioners back in the windows when spring comes. He remembers everything and is a very kind man. Silvio was prompt he came out within a half an hour of me contacting him. He did the work in less than two half days. He patched up some drywall to be ready for paint. While I was happy with his dry wall work, I was disappointed that I had to do a lot of sanding work to get the walls even and complete. Actually when he was finishing the work he was about to leave a section of drywall unfinished and I had to ask him to complete it. He did an immediate patch job, and left. I though he was going to come back to sand it, but I was mistaken. I especially wanted it sanded since I will have a vanity that will show the areas of the drywall that was unfinished, Silvio was extremely nice, and approachable, His drywall work installation was great, but the finishing was not. I actually hired him because I wanted to someone to give me a great finishing job, and I don't really believe I got that. Maybe I wasn't clear on my expectation, or maybe he wasn't clear on his limitations, either way I am not 100% satisfied.

First I called Angie?s List to find a provider to make bookshelves. After getting the information I needed I called Silvio from Home Repair Services. Made an appointment with him and he came out promptly. He brought samples and showed me approximately what it would looked like. He came out about three different times to consult with me. Quoted a competitive price. Was quick, prompt, and the outlook was excellent. I highly recommend Silvio of Home Repair Services. To add he loved my dog, I am a big dog person, so that was an extra bonus.

Silvio came over on a Sunday night (an hour after my call) to estimate, came back Tuesday and did an excellent job. Thanks Silvio!

Silvio came promptly around 9:00 AM and went right to work. He is diligent and very professional. He gave me good advice and honest feedback on the work he did. The weather stripping did not work out and he advised me against it. He was there primarily to install the drawers. I showed him the other smaller jobs to see if he could do the work, which he did. He didn't even charge me for the smaller repairs. 
I appreciated his hard work and honesty. I believe he treated my home as if it were his own. 
I plan to have him return in the Spring to do some outdoor maintenance as well. So happy I found him.

Extremely well.  I have used Silvio many times, and will continue to use him in the future. 

Silvio was very prompt when we requested an estimate for the repair of our deck. We needed several floor boards and some top boarding replaced. Silvio also recommended that the lattice work we had up could be replaced since we had trees to give us the privacy we wanted. We we agreed upon the estimate and he was to work the following day with the appropriate wood. He also helped us pick a new color for the staining, recommending several changes.  He was always prompt and cleaned up every day after he was finished. When the deck was completed, it looked new and gave out backyard and fresh look.  We are planning on using Silvio for further work on some repairs around our house.

I spoke to a couple of service providers before I found Silvio. He came the same evening I called for an assessment and indicated my stairs were not dropping but that my handrail had separated from the stairs. My late brother used the railings to pull himself up the stairs and I had never noticed the separation before last month. Silvio came back 2 days later and fixed the issue in less than an hour. He purchased a new tube of caulking to use after the railing had been re-secured (he did not use all of it)..LEFT the tube with me and showed me me how I could fill in cracks, ets. every year or so as things settle. I just thought that was a great gesture! 
He was on time for the assessment and also on time Friday morning when he came to fix the problem.  He was very friendly and knowledgeable. 
My townhouse is in great shape but built in the 80s...it needs some sprucing up.  We ended up walking around my home (I was showing him all the things I wanted to do in the next year or so) and he was great. I'm putting a plan in place and we'll work off of that moving forward -- he also gave me options (some less expensive, some more expensive) so I could determine how to allocate budget in the future. 
Will I call him again?  ABSOLUTELY!!

Silvio is very professional and neat. He arrived early and did a great job. He came out soon after we called him and gave us a written estimate soon thereafter. He scheduled the work and completed everything within a week. He is a real find,!! Will definitely be hiring him to do more home projects.

He was extraordinary!!!!! He was the best contractor I have ever used!!!!! He was thorough and he gave me a lot of good ideas with what to do with the back of my house.

Silvia was able to come to my house for an estimate the evening of my call.  I received an estimate later on that evening. When I accepted the offer, he scheduled the job within a week.  He was friendly and punctual.  Repair work was completed to my satisfaction other than having to do the final sanding myself.  I thought the price was high in retrospect as the job was completed in a little less than 2.5 hours. The job was mostly labor.  Cost of materials could not have factored much in this job.  Also,  I was disappointed to find lots of spackle/drywall debris on my carpet, in my master bath and on my dryway where the truck was parked.  I expect better than this when I hire someone thus the "fair" rating under professionalism.   

From start to finish Silvio was very professional. He came out the same day I contacted him to give me an estimate which he emailed me that same night (10/28). Initially he was going to do the work the week of Nov4th but I asked if he could possibly do the work before the weekend.He was very accommodating and came out Friday morning (11/1) and completed the job. 
We will definitely call him again.

He arrived with a plan and finished the work efficiently and neatly and everything is working really well.  Having the ramp is awesome!

After reviewing the quotation, agreeing upon the scope of work, the contractor came out twice to perform the work. We made several changes between the first and second visit, which the contractor was able to accommodate.

All work was performed professionally. Also the contractor was willing to work with my wife and I to assure our needs were met. This, in addition to a courteous, customer-first attitude is what set this contractor apart from others we have worked with in the past.

Payment was not due until all work was performed to our satisfaction.

In particular, we enjoyed working with this contractor, would highly recommend him to others, and look forward to working with him on other future work

Silvio renovated our garage which include drywall, prime, painting. It went very well.

Very punctual, very courteous, very neat and very clean.  This is our second time doing business with Home Repair.  We will definitely call them in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good handyman.  He is very honest and forthcoming with what he can and cannot do.
