Hard to find.

The company representative picked up the blinds in Center City Philadelphia and returned them promptly. We were very satisfied with the cleaning and repair. We would definitely use this company again.

Haven't been able to pick them up yet so I don't know. Cannot say I will hire again as I haven't seen blinds yet

Fair, not great. Positives were that Mike is responsive and punctual. Not as positive is that I wish Mike had been more direct when we asked him about the likelihood of having noticeably better shades after cleaning. When we asked if our shades were too old, sun-damaged and soiled to get a good result, Mike answered in effect "They should look better when we're done, not sure how much better". Actually, after cleaning the shades look much the same as before. I don't think Mike was trying to mislead us. But I think if he had been more direct in his answer, saying something along the lines of "your shades are more than 15 years old, you've owned them for 13 years and never cleaned them and you think the prior owners never cleaned them, and based on that it is unlikely we'll get anything much better" - well, we probably would not have gone forward.

It went very well indeed. I contacted Gem (I think it was Michael Tulli) on 7/22 Wed. I'm in a bit of a rush. Planning to move shortly. I had just received my Blinds from Factory Repairs.  Michael was very prompt in returning my call. He said he could get the job done by Sat AM.  I dropped the Blinds off in person on Thurs.   And indeed, The Blinds were ready for pickup by Saturday.

There was a glue stain on one of the Blinds (From when the wood floors were installed. A blob of glue went flying!). This could not be corrected. But Michael came up with the great idea of reversing the material on the blind to hide the stain. Brilliant! I hadn't even thought about that. Fantastic solution. 
Water stains that were present did come out. 
Now one slight caveat. I haven't actually opened up my blinds to confirm. They're wrapped in plastic and I don't want to open until all sheetrock and painting work is done. So I'm not absolutely sure things are OK. But I'm confident they are. We had a pretty substantial conversation and I'm sure the blinds will be beautiful when opened.
Also, his operation is basically out of his house. Which can be a little unsettling at first glance. On the other hand he showed me his sonication unit and its fully  capable of doing the job.  (I used to use sonicators in my profession and am very confident in this).

GEM ultrasonic cleaning was a pleasure to work with! We hired him to clean all of the blinds in a house we just bought prior to us moving in. He went to the house, removed the blinds and then reinstalled them at a later date when we were ready for them. We were dealing with many different contractors during that time period and he was by far the best...absolutely no problems.

Excellent service. The person called me back immediately. They were prompted, looked nice, fair price and on time. They also did an excellent job!

They were on time, both when they came to geet blinds and when they re-installed. They were -pleasant, careful not to harm new paint job etc. They did a good job for a reasonable price (I had had another estimate for double the amount).

They do a great job. Very particular to detail. Have used them for a few years now and will continue to do so.

Everything went extremely well. The blinds were picked up and returned, as promised, on the same day. One of the brackets that holds the mini blinds in the kitchen was not put up properly originally whenever it was first installed, and so when Ultrasonic went to put the blinds in that window back, they even took down the bracket for me and then put it back - positioned better - so the blind didn't twist at that spot as it did before - without being asked or any additional charge. Now the blinds in that window look much better and also work better. All of the blinds were so dirty, and now they sparkle and seem like new. I highly recommend this company! Extremely professional owner.

He did a very good job of cleaning them. He was very reasonably priced. I spent less than $100 on the job. He took a lot of effort to come out and pick them up. He even came out to deliver them and reinstall them. He does only the cleaning of the shades; he does not clean the windows. I will use him again in the future.

I have used them twice and the did a good job both times.

I compared these guys with others, and these folks were perfect. They made it easy, and they blinds look brand new. The work was on time, and they made it easy. USE THEM, they are first class. Everyone else is #2! The price was right where it should be.

The people came at 9:30 a.m. and worked until 1:15 p.m. They wore "booties" to not carry dirt through the house which I appreciated. They did a great job on the windows and cleaned all the screens. A crank on a window to open/close the porch windows came loose and broke - but they did tell me about it.

We have a room with four custom pleated shades. The strings broke on one of them and I called about half a dozen places that sold blinds to see if they could make the repair. The answer was no until I contacted Gem Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning. Naturally, I wanted to repair the shade I had instead of having to replace it with something that probably wouldn't match the other three or having to replace all four. I was very pleased that Gem Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning offered this service. Mike has a small shop behind a hair salon. He was pretty busy with what I'm sure were bigger jobs and it took him a little over a week to get to my repair. However, he was good about returning my calls and I was so happy to find someone to do this repair for me!
