Ed came out in December 2013 and looked at the house and took all necessary measurements and left a brochure on the roofing system and process he was recommending. We needed both a flat roof installation and roof shingle installation. He wasn't the lowest price but his professionalism and responsiveness won him the job.He contacted us when there was a break in the weather and scheduled time for the installation in March of 2014.
The crew showed up on time, did all the work scoped plus some additional items and they were done on time, cleaned up after and left the area free from debris or damage. When the snow melted we found some roofing nails and I contacted Ed and the crew came back and did another sweep of the area.
The price didn't change from the original estimate which was great. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

Ed rehabbed a home in Havertown, PA last fall - we liked the home and the upgrades but the house as constructed wasn't big enough for my family. We contacted Ed in regards to building an addition to the existing home. Ed always picked up the phone and was prompt in returning my phone calls when I did leave messages.



It was a turbulent time - we put an offer on the house that wasn't technically big enough but, of course, couldn't start the addition until the sale went through. It was two separate, costly endeavors that eventually needed to come together.



On top of the purchase and addition, we were also selling a property in Drexel Hill.



We closed on the house in December - Ed fought through the horrific winter to complete the work by the time we moved in 2 month later in February. He worked diligently to meet our timelines and complete the work. He also dealt with constant phone calls looking for updates.



In the end, everything worked out - we purchased the home, put on a great addition/deck, and sold our house in Drexel Hill before we had to make 2 mortgage payments.



Ed even helped with the sale of our Drexel Hill home by confirming that some of the past work done in the basement was sound.



Overall, I give EA Construction a high rating due to his overall work and professionalism.

Work was great, area cleaned up daily. Workers were polite and on time. Can't complain about anything.

They were on time and finished the job on time as well. Roof looks great. Initially, I had a leak around the chimney, i called Ed and he came out. The silicone failed, but since then NO problems. No leaks and the roof still looks great. Other neighbors have used his services since and have been completely happy.

We needed work for our business that required the installation of need rooms and a general contractor to oversee and hire plumber and electrician. He hired excellent professionals. I was new to this process, so I did not know the questions to ask nor did I have time to comparison shop, so I have no idea if the price was good. There were delays due to interpretation of the architect's plans and us not knowing all of the building requirements. The work was completed an attention to detail and looks great. We are very happy with the finished product.
