Terrible. Unprofessional, disrespectful, sensitive to everything. Hes terrible at his work but great at suing people. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR

Sam was very professional and helpful. I had a breaker that kept tripping and Sam was able to diagnosis the problem and fix it very quickly. I will definitely be using him again. Thank you Sam.

Panel replacements were satisfactory. However, he convinced me to have significant additional work done based on false statements. He became very defensive when I asked questions, so I called another electrician who said work was unnecessary. I stopped Sam's work. He billed for work in progress and immediately threaten legal action if I didn't pay.

I started my relationship with deluca by sending an email, detailing my needs and requesting an email with availability for estimates. I recieved a one line response that ignored my request and asked me to call him to make an appointment. I immediately called and went straight to voicemail. I never heard back. 6 days later I emailed again, letting him know that I was giving him another chance to set a date for an estimate and that i wanted an email response. I got the exact same response as before. I replied saying read my email before replying again. And then I started getting insults and fabrications. 
completely unprofessional behavior. I was never provided with any service, nor was I treated as a customer. my needs and my requests were flatly ignored. When I tried to meet the provider halfway, I was still ignored. 
I do not understand how anyone in business today can afford to ruin business relationships before they even begin.

deluca and helper called and asked if they could show up 3 hours earlier which was fine for me since i was home.
holes in wall and ceiling were minimal for fishing new lines.
cleaned up after which is most important when bedrooms were occupied.

He was on time for initial meeting. He helped us make decisions about what we were looking for and made some suggestions that we hadn't thought of. He was not pushy.

Sam and his helper arrived promptly, worked efficiently without breaks or lunch until mid afternoon to get the job done. It is convenient to have someone who can do several types of jobs in one visit.

Sam ran the electric for 3 ceiling fans and all 3 fans are off center in the rooms, plus he tore up the ceilings and we had to have the ceilings repainted.
Sam connected our dryer vent and 1 month after he setup the vents we had to have it redone cause the vent was not working.
The worst of his failed jobs  had to do with the shelf in the basement that holds the Sump pump backup battery. We came down stairs and the battery was on the floor and acid was all over the floor and the case was broken. When he put the shelf in 7 months ago we told him that the bolts would not hold the battery and he said they would be fine. When we called Sam about a month ago and told him that the battery fell and he had to replace it. He said he would. We called him this morning with the price to replace the battery and he refused saying it was 9 months and he could not guarantee the work.  He then accused us of leaning on the shelf and causing it to break. We had to pay someone to purchase a battery and install it for us.
 DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR.  HE OVER CHARGES AND HIS WORK QUALITY IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN.
I do not normally write  reviews on contractors, everyone has good days and bad days but if a mistake is made most contractors will fix the mistake.  Sam will not honor his work.  WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR, STAY AWAY FROM HIM AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.

How did it go? Obviously there are many honest contractors who would have handled this non-job and been straight up. There are a also many providers who who have gone through with an unnecessary project, charged me for work that didn't need to be done and gone happily on their way. And then there is Sam, who managed this all with a smile on his face and didn't even make too much fun of my diagnostic oops that took time out of his work day. Sam is a gem who has done fine work for me in the past and who is now quoting me on some work I hadn't yet planned.

Sam and his assistant performed the work efficiently, quickly and left on schedule with all systems working perfectly. The work area was cleaned so well that one would never know they had been here. A true professional.

I spoke with Sam, I gave my name and where I lived. I explained the problem skylight in the sunroom leaking when it rains
I advise him a roofer was out wanted to sell me new skylights,verbal agreement to remove old caulk around the skylights then re-caulk, he would not guaraantee this work, he asked if needed to come out straight away I questioned it as it was going to rain , he called later to schedule a date and time, becuase of the weather about 2 days later
Sam arrived within the scheduled time, he gave 3 hour window, He was still concern as to how I learn about his company, as this was not Chester county, I am in Montgomery county.  
I showed him where the problem was from inside the sunroom, I waited till he was setting up the ladder for the roof, then went inside to my office, and encourage him to let me know if needed anything, after a bit I look out the window to check up on his progress noted him appying this black stuff  over the caulk that was around the skylight, I asked about the caulk, he stated removing the caulk may cause loads of other problems the black stuff is Muck, best thing to use, why didn't the roofer recommend this, in fact remember you asked about guarantee and I wouldn't , this I will at least 5- 10 yrs or more, something abour it expanding with the weather, best thing to use
he charged the same price $125.00 he was done in about 45 mins or less
I asked about another job,placing the cover over the cap in the chimney, he asked is this an emergency and  you don't need it

that weekend it rained all night I woke up to check the work and to my sadness the bucket was half full of water,the problem was not solved, the other one did not leak, I took pictures and sent via email to Sam since he had guaranteed it I asked what he would do to rectify the problem, about 8 pm that night he called told me he got the email and he did not guarantee it, get a roofer its a shingle,  I reviewed the events of the day he was out, he insisted did not guarantee it, nothing i can do, I tried to voice my concerns but he then announce got to go.
I would not recommend this company, Not a man of his word, the whole experience was most disappointing
would not trust his website he should correct it to say service only Chester county and for emergencies these other counties

Sam is reliable, fast and well able to do virtually all kinds of work required. Primarily an electrician by training, Deluca Electric was a perfect resource for one stop shopping for this home. As before, the experience was excellent.

Punctual, customer sensitive, always left the job site clean. Listened to client and responded accordingly.
