"Hi [Member Name Removed], what specifically are you calling substandard in regards to the floor? You did fire DPP before any of the work was completed. Everything had been roughed in and not permanently secured. The last day day on the job was Saturday 1/9, the "flood" you refer to happened on 1/16. That's 7 days after you terminated the contract. The sink was made temporarily useable 1/6, 10 days before the "flood". If the contracted work was permitted to be completed, this would not have happened. DPP does have liability insurance. When you asked to submit a claim, I responded that DPP could not be held liable for any damages that occurred after you terminated the contract in a text message. If you feel DPP should be held liable, please take legal actions."
