They're expensive. They do come out when we need them. They come out when they say they're going to, but it's not immediate. They were very punctual. They could lower their prices.

had issues with business line - attempted to get resolution via phone help line - when that didn't work service tech appointment made. 2 different tech's arrived, neither could resolve issue. Dropped service and went with Verizon

Service was bad and first technician changed the box and this helped for a while. Service became bad again.  I Had to make several calls to the service center as the technicians wanted to try to fix the problem over the phone.  At times technicians were repeating the same thing which had not worked previously.  I had to make several calls and had no service for a week before the technician came to the home and fixed a wire outside the home which did solve the problem.

The guy was on time, explained everything and even got my better boxes than were originally ordered. He was great and the service has been good since the change. One of the boxes stopped working for a day, but they got it fixed.

After one year, my rates almost doubled to over $100.  I called to complain, threatened to terminate my business and got rates back to  $95. It has since gone up to the present  $123 . I could change to voice over internet, which would reduce cost some, but I am moving to another state hoping to avoid Comcast. .  . Lesson learned: Don't believe that  their teaser rates last beyond one year, Whether, I was deliberately misled or merely misled, my experience is that rates have more than doubled in about 2 years. 
Cable installation: My neighbor noticed the above ground cables, We agreed that was wrong and he offered to call them to fix it for both of us.   Then Comcast came out connected my neighbor underground, but left all the above ground cable, which still connected me. The line for the digging was marked bright orange as was the cable over two roots, as was the two roots.  I can only surmise that it is Comcast's policy to bury the cable, but that its cable installers do whatever they please. 
        I then called insisting that they take the above ground cable out.  Of course that would terminate my service, but at least I could get the teaser rate again.  They were very nice about scheduling a fix and I complimented them on coming promptly within only a two hour window.     I wanted to be there when the installers came because clearly they did not want to take out the above ground cable. 
        The installers never came, no one called to reschedule.    I had to call them back to schedule them again.  Comcast was very nice scheduling them to come back tomorrow in a 4 hour window.  Again,  I insisted that they remove the above ground cable..  Lesson learned: Comcast customer support is instead public relations: they will say what they need to, but have no power to make things right.

I have a second home and called Com sat who came and put in cable (TV/Internet)  The installation was done in the crawlspace underneath my home.  I didn't think to watch the guy but I should have.  It turns out that he drilled holes right through my air conditioning ducts and didn't know this until 6 months ago (1 ½ years after initial installation) when I had someone doing some repairs on something else and he brought it to my attention.  The holes were there for over a year - I had noticed by electric bills going up through the roof as well as heating (propane) - since that summer.  Anyway I have called comcast for the past 6 mod - an average 3-4 times a week to get someone to look at the damage so I can get it repaired.  every time i call i get transferred from one idiot to the next, promising they will resolve it only to send me to another person where they insist on getting the details - over and over again so they can get me to the right person. every time i call I am told they need more information.  I have demanded to speak to a supervisor - they are never to be found.   I do not understand how this company stays in business.  I have never seen such ineptness and sickeningly poor customer service.  They know how to find you when they want your money but not when there is a problem.
- they have no intention of fixing it, or looking at it.   It won't happen.  I will get the damage fixed and I will be sure to post this story everywhere I can so that potential customers know what a shoddy outfit this is.

The price for Comcast service is outrageous.  $132.00 a month for basic cable with NO premium channels and internet is ridiculous, but they know they have a lot of consumers over a barrel because there aren't any options.  Trust me, you haven't made any friends here and the minute there are options, people WILL be leaving.  
Management needs to get off the golf course, look at their pricing, service and value and rethink their business model.  Your shareholders are customers too and we're all pretty unhappy!

We asked for a tech to recheck the pole since that coincided with service interruption but they refused to come out. When I threatened to climb the pole myself  & check it out myself (& bring down rest of neighborhood too), finally someone came out. Guess what they found?? Yes-they had disconnected our phone line during the install.

We actually prefer channel line up & even pricing of Comcast to our current provider but this level of disregard for customer needs seems to be an issue with Comcast. There are MANY great customer service reps at Comcast-most of whom try very hard to help. Although I have been told by someone who knows, these front line workers are the ones who get the blame for all negativity directed to Comcast. The company does not have enough available (& competent) techs for repairs so the CSRs can't schedule someone in a timely manner. They have supervisors who "counsel" the CSRs for not getting off the line to take the next call soon enough rather than working with a customer to adequately understand the problem.

Again-we liked much about Comcast but their inability to restore service in a timely manner and to create a lie about the issue was unacceptable. We were longtime customers who had to switch to another provider due to this issue. I would add that

It was very frustrating dealing with this outage and 2 subsequent outages. Calling the service number resulted in multiple recorded messages stating when service would be restored. It was nearly impossible to get to a person to inform them that I had electricity.

I dropped their Xfinity cable TV since I am not interested in their TV channels and I use the web for movies (Free Hulu and Amazon Prime, which now includes streaming music as well... of course the public library remains a wonderful free source of films) as well as free digital TV still available to the public which covers my basic interests. I don't use Comcast's phone service and dropped AT&T copper wire phone service years ago. For the most part Comcast basic internet cable performs well, although it seems the cable connection tends to goes out for an hour or so perhaps once or twice per month. The upload and download (105 MBps) speeds perform well, and I have no problem using the service for multiple computers. For now Comcast has suspended their 250 GB monthly cap. Comcast claims their XFINITY Internet customers' median monthly data usage is 20 - 25 GB per month.
After cancelling basic Xfinity TV and returning my converter box, Comcast continued this month (June 2014) crammed my bill $9.95 for an 'HD Technology Fee' under Xfinity TV, which I do not subscribe to.  I called to complain. The call computerized answer chain and wait time were very long until I reached a human (15 min), and I found her unpleasant, detached and her accent was difficult to understand. The service rep did not know why this charge appeared on my bill and arranged for a credit.

The first 3 cable boxes did not work, Comcast finally sent a technician that they said would be free and then tried to charge for it. They did not include special offers that were part of the "new customer package". When they added HBO as a customer satisfaction issue, they charged for it. After MANY calls to the 800 number with no satisfaction, they said that they could not help because it was ordered online. They said you had to do an online chat to resolve the issues. The online chat people kept dropping/ closing the chat window and disconnecting. After many months of total lack of customer service, the set top box was returned as I was told to drop it off at the Comcast office in Exton.....ONLY the set top box. They would not accept it without the remote control or would continue to charge me $10 per day until the remote was returned. They also said that I had two set top boxes on my account but, the 800 number showed only one on my account. I never had more than one that worked. 3 were sent in total, only the 3rd one worked and all others had been previously returned.. The customer service at Comcast is horrendous but, that is the only provider available at that location. Would never ever choose Comcast or recommend them. They have terrible customer service.

Despite what alot of people say about Comcast, I was very happy with the installation of our internet service.  I quickly got an appointment set up for a saturday morning.  I nice gentleman, I forget what his name was, came to our house to install our router and modem.  The reason we brough him out was because we needed some wires run to put the boxes in our closet.
The gentleman was timely, courteous, and provided what we needed, along with some laughs along the way.  I wish I knew his name, or the third party company that comcast contracted through.

They had sent me a bill that was increasing my cost so I called and negotiated. I like them.  If I have a problem I could always reach somebody over the phone. If they have to come out here I’ll have to wait a couple of days.  I can always talk to them.  If they say they are going to be here they are here. If they are here they are fine and professional and I would say they are good. I just negotiated with them for another year so I will continue to use them but quite honestly I am always looking for the best bargain.  Comcast has convinced me to stay on.
