Wes did a fantastic job! He was honest, kind and respectful. He refinished (the walls) and painted just about the entirety of my 1.5 bedroom condo in under 5 days time. The place looks brand new. Wes was always friendly and on-time. At the end of everyday, he walked me through his progress asking that I carefully review for any corrections I might want him to make the following day. He always went over exactly exactly what he would be doing that day, to be certain it was exactly what I wanted. In short, I was extremely happy with the work Wes performed and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be reaching out to Wes specifically if I ever need anymore painting done.

Estimator came promptly after initially emailing the owner about obtaining a quote in May 2021. Estimator was friendly and did a thorough survey of the job, asked all the right questions. Promised they'd email an estimate in a week or so. No estimate came, so I sent a follow-up email. Owner again promptly responded, saying he would check with the estimator. Again no estimate was sent. Sent the owner 2 more emails to check in, after the second email the owner once again claimed he thought the estimate had been sent (which it hadn't). By this point it's over a month later since the estimator's initial visit. The owner once again replied he would look into it and get the estimate sent ASAP. It never came. That was 3 months ago. Why bother sending someone all the way out to a home to do the estimate, and then never actually send it, and lie about making sure it would get sent? Extremely disappointing customer service, especially after having come highly recommended by our next door neighbor.

We had an excellent experience with Dan. He was very prompt in providing an estimate and he squeezed us in when we had a very narrow window in which to complete our job. Dan also made sure the job was finished on time. The team showed up daily as scheduled and did a very nice job with both our bedroom and bathroom. Their prices are very competitive and their customer service is exceptional! We would highly recommend Colorful Remedies!

After reading all the glowing reviews, I took some time to compose this as I was up in the air about two disappointing experiences with Colorful Remedies’ owner, staff, and their “finished” jobs. I wish I had those personnel referenced in previous reviews to perform the work at my home. My first experience was the inadequate preparation for painting a finished basement with recessed lighting and three sides underground with a deck above the only 2 windows above ground. The lighting was obviously insufficient for such detailed work and this was proven when after they wrapped-up we checked around more closely and found several areas where a second coat was missing. Quality control was clearly lacking before they received their final payment but after telling Dan he apologized and promised to do better. The painters then were very competent and professional but I feel should have given more attention to details for the price. My disappointment continued when the painters returned to paint two bedrooms. Prior to their arrival I reminded Dan that there were no overhead lights in either bedroom and providing lights would be appreciated. Day one, one painter showed up with no additional lighting, and proceeded to “work” in the semi-dark using only the morning light coming in at 8 AM (it was December). When I immediately reached out to the office to ask about the additional lights I was told they would be bringing “one” with them and that the second painter would arrive shortly (he arrived 40 minutes after the first painter with “one” light to share.) They completed the 2 rooms quickly – 2 days. After allowing the rooms to dry completely we moved some furniture and table lamps back into the rooms and started plugging in the lights only to discover that they lost the wall plate screws for one outlet plate and glued it on with wet paint. In addition to that we discovered that a 4-foot ladder we kept behind the door in that room was missing. After reaching out several times asking if it was packed up in error when the painters left I was rebuffed, told they brought their own ladder (a 2 foot ladder which was difficult to understand since I have 10 feet ceilings with fire sprinklers, smoke alarms, and ceiling vents in each room so they would have needed to be very careful to cut in around them by hand and since neither painter was close to being 6 feet tall a 2 foot ladder would have been too short - and they shared it!), that the missing ladder was not found in their inventory, and that it was probably still somewhere in that room. After asking Dan again to have the painters check one more time he indicated he would buy me a new ladder rather than risk getting a bad review. I declined, replaced the painted wall plate missing a screw, and have called it quits with Colorful Remedies,’ effectively canceling another 6+k in painting projects.

Regarding your ladder - we are sorry its missing, but we absolutely, unequivocally deny taking it, even inadvertently. Trust is a major factor in hiring a contractor, you certainly expect that none of your personal possessions will ever be taken, ever. We take this very seriously; our handbook clearly states any employee caught removing or stealing items from a homeowner will be immediately fired and criminal charges if applicable will be brought. Obviously, your expectations didn't meet with the reality of the finished job and for that we are sorry. We wish you the very best with your future projects."

Just great, very professional, on time and very respectful especially during covid. they even changed a door around to open better. What I also liked is that they took the doors and drawers to their space to spray paint. they look like they were factory finished. Just great.

I can't speak highly enough for my experience with Colorful Remedies. Communication was excellent from the minute I reached out. Everything was clearly laid out, including the hourly rate for wallpaper removal and a discussion about what would be needed for the removal of a 2-story faux sponge finish. The team did excellent work and there was zero dust...and we needed alot of patch work. They were clean, and left our house in excellent condition - probably even cleaner than it was when they started. We are already scoping out other projects for the team to help with since we should have done more the first time! I would hire them again in a second and have already recommended them to friends and family.

The process from quote to finished product is fantastic! Carey came and gave me a quote for the work that's needed in our study room. I requested for an immediate date as I have a personal situation that requires the work to be done soon, and they delivered. The team came and did the work for 4 days, installed hardware for us as well as replaced outlets and faceplates with no extra charge. They were very pleasant, courteous, did the work cleanly, and left us the paints for later touch-ups if needed. I am getting them for another work on the construction side because of the result of this work. Thank you!!!
